  1. Rode from 9 to 1020 with BenM and Antman, though he arrived shortly before I had to peaceout. Temps were crazy nice but a serious fog was in from my house all the way up to the corner ski shop. Fools would assume the lack of fog in the A side would extend to the Zincy side but true Detroit players know the deal. Shit was as thick as I have ever experienced, first run down challenge the top 200ft was above the fog and then bam straight in your grill it came on an erased the world around you. Middle of Challenge I could see a white blur in front of me and dark blurs to the side and all I was doing was keeping it in the white. Snow is really good, mostly super soft hero snow but the problem was you really couldn't see it at all. No trail was any better or worse with the fog but coverage is excellent all across the hill. If you squint your eyes and forget where you are with the fog for a second the place looks legit af. Antman got the timing right and by the time i was pulling out it was mostly lifting but cool day to be out.

  2. Very fun late morning session. Saw Ben and Laws car so I waited for them at the bottom to start. Took a lift and run with them and they both dipped. The fog dissipated pretty much right after they left and the sun was on full blast for the remainder of the morning Figured I’d go for the Full Blue experience and hit every main run down from the quad. Today was my first run on Razors which I ended up doubling back to it was that much fun. I even hit Chute for bonus points. No lift lines and ended up calling it after 14 runs. Spoke with Root in the lot for a couple minutes. Once I got to my car it was the hottest I’ve ever been after snowboarding and was sweating like crazy. Sat in the lot soaking in the sun for a few minutes drinking some wooder and bounced. Car said the temp was 70 degrees outside.

  4. Just picked up a bunch of items containing no nutritional value whatsoever for Sunday. Hope to hit Levante tomorrow to grab some brewskis for the fiesta.

  5. They do, but prices are usually a good bit cheaper if you buy it directly from levante. I have a ton of beers to bring...Foam, Burlington Beer, Dancing Gnome, still got a few Treehouse beers left too

  6. Generator. Picked up a small inverter generator finally. Suppose to be super quiet. Grabbed a few quarts of heavy cream at the restaurant depot tonight. @Johnny Lawknows. Also a bunch of jalapeños and some marscapone for a dish that may or may not happen depending on time.

  7. Just ended a sess at Blue with @Schif we cooked some eggplant parm, packed the car, and showed up at 7pm. We saw @mbike-skiand @MrsSnowBunSki In the lot. MBike only had 1 ski though… beautiful night. I thought ROTN was challenge. Schif thought ROTN was sidewinder. After skiing, I drank some leftover $9 wine and Schif had a breckenridge porter. Ended the night with eggplant parm in the parking lot. Solid night. Driving to West Pittston for the weekend. Passed the roller skating rink. Holy shit! That place is popping for 10pm on Friday.

  8. Well I did kind of I wore a t-shirt but I put my regular ski jacket over top because I needed somewhere to put my phone. In hindsight that was a poor choice. This picture of an empty slope and the six pack not moving makes me sad

  9. Semi trail report 3-18- fog all the way from Fleetwood until just before the Creek, magically cleared and no fog on the mountain. I didn't ski (really don't like spring conditions!) but the wife, kids and grand kids loved the day. First runs were reported as very nice spring/sugary conditions on the F chair side. They all skied until around 2:30 or so. Parks were nice per my son in law and everyone coming through B chair. Lots of hooting and hollering, lack of shirts and a general good time by all. Everything except Sasquatch open.

  14. My husband is partial to Aleve, I think ibuprofen works much better. I will also use aspirin instead of the ibuprofen for injuries sometimes.

  20. Was a very fun night! I always enjoy the sporty slush. After skiing in those conditions on his tiny little season rentals my sons legs were cooked.

  21. Fun night. Chatted with @momskeeztoo and Marty on the walk out. Sounded like they had a grate day and we’re still there after 5. Rain held off but it did get quite dark before sunset and was hoping the lights would come on. Razors was my ROTN with a close second to TCS after skating for it since only the 6 was open. Ending up with a full chair after meeting up with @mbike-ski, @Dirtwolf, @NMSKI, and mini @NMSKI. Mini NM is quite the ripper and hopped right into Barney’s without even a pause at the top. 59° when we left at 745 so hopefully they have some magic to keep the snow around.

  22. Beautiful morning so far at Shawnee. Second time here on my Indy Pass. The place is pretty empty. 40° and sunny when I pulled in. Probably 50°+ now. Plenty of snow. Nice spring morning.

  29. It's a different drug, but it will help with inflammation. I actually think aleve works better than ibuprofen.

  30. Hope you feel better Steeze, see you Sunday

  31. Have you been taking any ibuprofen or other NSAIDs regularly? Might be some inflammation that is causing that nerve compression. And of course, Vibes your way so you can be fresh for Sunday!

  35. Shawnee is great…I didn’t realize they moved their park to the other side of the mountain. Last time I was there it was on bushkill and they had the best jump line in the poconos.

  40. Couldn't resist lower sky complete with chop. Riding the summit again for sky to cloud. Legs are already on fire

  41. So the summit is once again where it's at. It's not as socked in as I thought it would be. Just did a full top to bottom skyward to base and the snow is a nice loose granular or cord no ice to be found on the journey down. Going to check out cloud spin next

  44. Nice sunset last night but Mike’s right, the hill froze solid at 7:04. Couple good laps and lot beverages still made it worth it. Back at it tomorrow night.
