Travel day was Saturday, we met at the Park and Ride off William Penn Highway at 3am. I got about 4 hours sleep the night before, but I guess I was one of the lucky ones, as many didn’t sleep at all. Bus didn’t show up, so trip leader had to pull a few strings to get another bus. Consequently, we made it to the airport by the skin on our teeth. Consequently, no breakfast. Plane ride uneventful. Bus stopped at grocery/ liquor store. Food here is expensive 😳. First day was sunny, warm, lots of soft snow and bumps, a little exhausting, and I think I was dehydrated from the previous day, so was exhausted after 3 hours!9 points

Fun times yesterday! Only skied two top to bottom laps before getting the kids on the school hill, but we made it to the top!9 points

Big progress in the last week I feel. Leg is now a hair away from totally straight. No longer get random ice pick like stabbing pains when I step wrong. PT twice a week and riding my ass off on the stationary bike at the gym to keep up my cardio. Saturday I decided to try and go without my brace. Wasn’t too bad, but by end of night I was really sore. Next scan and assessment is 4/5. Fingers crossed all looks good.8 points

Poached it earlier in the day. It was very skiable but good decision to have it closed, lots of people would have come into it in the middle where there was no coverage and not been able to react in time. Maybe highlight of the season for me was the last run, when my little dude dropped into Widowmaker with barely a pause at the top. From Crossover he looked up and swore he wanted to do it, I said let's go to the top and look and make sure. Thought for sure he back out. I stop and I'm like "OK buddy what do you think – oh crap he's going!" Lol6 points

No but they harassed everyone else trying to get turns in at 3:55 PM kudos to blue punching above their weight this season. And a glass raised to all you folks.5 points

It's been a super fun season....Blue did a good job being open when others weren't...The ditch/snow on TCS was a nice surprise..Big thanks to @enjoralas @mbike-skifor all the fine culinary delights....I like to think nobody eats as well as we do in a ski area parking lot....It's been a pleasure to ski/ride/hang out with everyone....5 points

Cause I concluded after having a Blue pass the winter of 2018-19 that I would rather ski anywhere but Blue (except Mountain Creek) on weekends from mid December through late February4 points

Impressed that they are still open. Blue has exceeded my expectations this season and provided us with some fantastic conditions. As always, I'm looking forward to getting back next year after the improvements that we have heard might be coming. Conditions today were as expected with some trails definitely better than others. @Benm got his planks out on the snow, legally. Donuts and beer in the lot. Its been a great season with you all! Hopefully I'll see some of you out on the bikes 👍 Also, Blue day #800 since keeping track of stats in 2005/06 season.3 points

Did they get soft yesterday?? Blue should try to open this weekend for a day just for bragging rights. Or turn it into a charity thing where you get a ticket if you bring 5 cans of food or something. I know they want to start construction of the water park, condos, fishing pond(yes I have a Koi guy on the south side) if they need Koi fish, new lift and probably gonna send out the annual,” time to clean out your lockers and return seasonal rentals letter”...at least camelback has snow tubing available this weekend for snowsports enthusiasts.2 points

Not as good as mixilplix's video but my favorite part is @antman12at the end. Also at the end of @Mixilplixs video you can kinda catch Antman and I throwing snowballs at Ben2 points

Great day, sucks that its closing day but it was an awesome season. Sidewinder was awesome today and the parking lot was great as usual. Picked up mary Ann's donuts and @mbike-ski had pork sandwiches and sausage that was delicious. Snowing pretty hard this afternoon which probably made for a cold pond skim2 points

There was a lot of mayhem going on at the top of Coming Soon at closing yesterday. @tarponhead was pitching a fit and a bunch of people blew by SP at the top, much like you did last year on Sidewinder. Why SP decided to sweep the slope before the quad stopped running was beyond everyone's comprehension.1 point

Wish I would have got a video of @mbike-ski hucking his meat off the pond cliff...1 point

After experiencing 76 degrees two Fridays ago, and having a new mountain bike ready to be ridden, I've concluded that this weather blowz.1 point

They softened up nicely, a bit heavy and scratchy between . The bump crew was out in force . I can’t believe how many were in the parking lot afterwards.I’ve seen them over the season more less individually . My friend Paul was introducing me around. I grew up admiring his effortless mogul skills. He’s there Fri/ Sunday all season, he knows them all . I’m sure I won’t remember everyone’s name. Met Mbike too1 point

Closing day is always a pour one out for your homie kinda deal but good lord it was one of the best seasons. It was an honor and an pleasure skiing and chilling with all of you. Best lot anywhere. Blue I thought did a super good job....winter should be six months long. Huge props to Benm on 2x4 skis and Indiggio for braving the cold at line up, vintage is coooooold1 point

The only thing i've heard about a new lift was from that guy who basically got laughed out of the thread. Has there been any talk about it? Knowing blue and their history of opening new stuff, they will cut the lift line and clear it over the next 10 years then add the lift without announcing it. It will sit for a year then open on a powder day, then have a naming contest in the off season.1 point

Jack Frost is better than Blue during early season. They both run slow lifts, so that's a wash... but Jack Frost has more than one top-to-bottom trail open, unlike Blue where skiing a congested Midway a billion times gets monotonous. Obviously Blue is better once they get the Valley open, but JF it is for me the first few weeks of the season.0 points
