  1. The drive from Idaho Springs to Silverthorne was wicked easy...it was snowing a bit but the roads were clear. I got three packages of gummies, a one gram cart and three pre rolled joints for just under $150 and tipped the bud tender a $10..gotta spread that Karma. Just Checked into Comfort Suites. Room is decent. Gonna take a low dose of the edibles and relax probably nap a bit. I left Allentown at 430am eastern and here checked in at 2pm mountain time. A whopping 11.5 hours door to door but I did stop for lunch and safety supplies. Glad to have made it here. I think I’m gonna buy a three day weekday pass for Abasin..probably use it twice this week and on Monday. Driving by Loveland the snow looked midwinter great but boy was it cold and windy. 20 degrees at the tunnel and mid 20s here in Silverthorne.

  5. Hotel house to terminal in an hour and fifty minutes, not bad considering a very long line(about 20 minutes) through security. Jet Stream parking was super nice..I think the neighborhood (essington) I drove through was in Delco...hit a giant pot hole like a block from parking place...shuttle guy helped me with my ski bag. No line at United airlines check in..paid $45 for one bag..first checked bag free...at least I had a milfy blonde in stretch pants in front of me in line..no idea if she was 35 or 50 due to mask..walked through bomb sniffing dog and then in security to keep the line moving I didn’t have to take off my shoes. Also amazing how long people will stand in line for Dunkin’ Donuts JADIP...

  6. As it turned out, did not get much skiing in. The days were in the mid to upper 50's, the nights well above freezing. Snow was sloppy. Way more people in some areas them I'm used to (well, the last 18 years anyway) and then there was a sand storm from the Sahara which did not improve conditions. Never go somewhere to ski in March, it's too unpredictable. Below are three little videos from the trip. Not much skiing, but plenty of food for Doug.

  8. About 8 inches in town yesterday, more on the mountain, stopped about 4PM. Bluebird today, people started lining up at 8AM for a 9 o’clock opening. Parking lot pretty full when we left at 11, probably 3 or 4 times as many people as over the weekend. I stayed pretty much on the groomers, my son took his Head Kores into the good stuff under the lift and off the Wolverine bowl. Low of 20, high of 33, unlike last week’s low of 34, highs in the 60s

  9. Upper Chi, Boothwyn, Parkside, Ridley, Glenolden, Folcroft, Essington are at the top. Those people think Delco ends about 7 miles North of 95. They also think the earth is flat, and you will fall off the map if you go north of Route 1.

  10. Essington is on the top of the list as far as those people who love to be from, and tell people they are from Delco. They are the ones at Wildwood flying the Delco flags. Kinda like when Glenn wears his sherriffs badge.

  11. Nozawa Sushi & Hibachi, by the hotel house? I'm pretty sure I ate there on September 11, 2017 and it was delicious.

  13. I just purchased a midweek three pack for Abasin for $239 and I added $2 for the national forest foundation for $241. You don’t have to use it consecutive days which I like. I’ll prob ski Abasin tomorrow, Friday and Monday and maybe cooper Thursday at least one weekend day at Loveland.

  14. My nephew says that. For next ski season I’m gonna buy one of these chickens for the lot to add to the early morning and mid day cowbells. If the fall back doesn’t happen, VTMark2 will be doing laser light shows while we are booting up.

  22. That took so long. I was actually holding out until PA was gonna legalize but lost patience in 2020. Medical MJ card was the best decision ever and I save hours of time not having to buy on the black market. Plus I don’t have to worry vape carts are hot dog water.

  28. Saw the surgeon last Friday and got the all clear. I consider myself pretty lucky that it was just a minor MCL sprain with no damage to the meniscus. The swelling and pain for the first couple days was wild. According to the doc most injuries like mine are healed in 3-6 weeks. I still have a bit of fluid around the MCL but nothing to worry about.
