  1. Up in Marble and things are coming along. Went thru almost white out conditions on Vail Pass to get here. Siding is done, concrete floors getting polished starting tomorrow. Waiting on the inspectors to decide to drive from the other side of the valley before we can do insulation and close up walls. Fingers crossed by July will be ready for CO inspection.

  2. Day 5 of 6 April 17th, 2022 Loveland Colorado Hey All, I’m back from another fun snowy ski day. I arrived at the lot at Loveland at 820am and it was a heavy wet snow upon arrival and windy as well. It’s amazing watching how past the lot at Loveland fills up. First lift ride up Chet’s dream and wow there were a lot of Herbs out doing herb things. Don’t believe anything you hear, most of these Colorado front rangers are goobs. Then the #2 lift which had untracked pow almost top to bottom. Then lift 4, lift, lift six and lift 9. I essentially worked my way across the mountain in 5-6 runs then 1-2 runs back. One quick safety break and my ears were bugging me. No real lift lines and I skied about half untracked mostly lower angel hippie pow and steeper pitches had crusties underneath and the woods had some nasties. As it was again cold and windy, I didn’t take many pictures but I think the few I took gives an overall idea of what this mid April has been all about.

  3. Actually pulled the raclette lamp out today for extended family Easter dinner. Wegmand actually had Raclette cheese but I went with a wedge of a nice cheddar called The Full Vermonty

  6. April 16th 2022... Copper mountain Its finally warmer out. Today began with some nice sunshine with a temperaturen in the mid 30s in Silverthorne. I left the hotel house around 820am and I was in the free parking at Copper before 840am and riding the Super Bee lift by 9am. It was a festive atmosphere at Copper mountain with a lot of families. The groomers were mostly cord but not as hero snow as Abasin..groomed a little more solid and off trail had some areas of try fresh and some sort of manky from the strong morning sun. I made my way across from west to east to ptaragjn lift, American flyer and Timberline which had really nice hero snow with the sun shining. I only took the Sierra lift once and it was chilly up in the alpine and as I made my way back across the mountain from timberline to super bee there were some large clouds and by the time I was back in Silverthorne there was full cloud cover. I’m happy to at least have had some sun and no real liftlines at Copper...I stopped at a mini market for more bottled water, iced tea and some snacks and then got Wendy’s this has to be one of the most expensive Wendy’s. I dropped $17. I’m thinking Loveland tomorrow and maybe Abasin on my last ski day Monday.

  12. In Charleston for the weekend and spotted this yacht. Heard it’s for sale for $40m. Heard yachts like this can rent for $250k a week + staff. but if you look closely, there’s a floating tiki hut with a motor and a bunch of bros on it. spotted this giant shipping boat - Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Learned that it has a bunch of BMWs on it. Turns out it’s like a giant parking garage that floats. then just normal sailboats soaking up the sunset light
