I really hope the Sixers play the Nets and he plays and they go full on Hack-A-Ben.4 points

Did anyone else see the guy at the Sixers game on Monday that was turned away for wearing a plague mask? I was dying! It's actually bullshit because this mask is way better than a cloth mask, but they didn't like him being a troll I guess.4 points

I refuse to get gas in jersey. I don’t think I’ve got gas in the garden state since very early 2000s. Having to use an attendant is dumb.2 points

When my 1 year old granddaughter flew back to Sacramento after the Christmas holidays this year she got a case of Covid from the airport or plane. Fortunately, she was still nursing, and my daughter in law was fully vaccinated, which medical experts think will help, so it was a mild case. Also this Easter my sister in law and niece were supposed to come up from Philadelphia for dinner, but they both had Covid. Also vaccinated, so mild cases. And my niece in Maine came down with it last week in College. Although apparently the chances of getting long haul syndrome isn’t affected by vaccination. Cases in the area have doubled the past couple of weeks. Shame to spoil a good Colorado thread with this BS.2 points

I didn't see this but it's fantastic. Going to a Sixers game when they had the mask mandate plus the vax card screen at the door made the lines to get in a nightmare. PS: Sixers in 5 and I hope Ben Simmons comes back in game 4 and doesn't score a single point.2 points

One confused face for you. Why wouldn't he. PASR is a year round establishment. There are only a handful of peeps that can get away with not being a year round poster.1 point

Ok, but we have to get gas in PA. I can't stand that asinine arbitrary rule that I'm not allowed to pump my own gas in Jersey. So stupid. I move faster than most gas attendants and full service is an inefficient waste of my time.1 point

If me and edge can sit in the backseat of the sonic. I’ll pay $10 towards gas1 point

100% guarantee that there is a reason that graph cuts off where it does, when the lines are most divergent and heading in the proper directions to influence the masses with bogus "statistical" data. The real story to take from that graph is that at it's absolute best case moment of so called improvement in public health, the mask mandates offered two HUDREDTHs of a percent improvement in infection -- not hospitalization -- rates. But ooooohh, scary graph! Fucking tools.1 point

Lol Vox, I posted a NY Times study while you posted a source founded by Matt ygelias lol. ”We don’t believe you, you need more people! Rocafella students of the game, we passed the class cause nobody could read you dudes like we do!” -JayZ1 point

Since I’m super sick of work and still grinding through voicemails and check writing, I thought I’d do a cost breakdown of this trip for those interested. It was a much less expensive trip than Jackson hole..in JH I spent more on lift tickets, dining out, airfare, airport parking and less on rental car and baggage at least $4,000 for JH, hard to gauge exactly as I brought a lot of cash with me. For colorado trip Rental car/gas $640 Hotels $840 3 days at Abasin $240 1 day Loveland $85 1 day at Copper $145 airfare free airport baggage $90 roundtrip airport parking $120 dispensory $350 food/drink $400 max or like one dinner in JH lol total approx $2900 maybe less as I spent about $100 the first night going out to eat and some groceries and other days just had Einstein bagels, Wendy’s, cheap Mexican food and just random mini market stuff.1 point

I saw two separate people driving alone in their cars with masks on..I’m not gonna judge, they may be immuno compromised and don’t want the Covid-19 to get them at a red light.1 point

Yeah that rule of only removing mask while actively eating and drinking on planes became extinct like the Dodo bird...I definitely can make a 1/2 ounce bag of pretzels and a 4 ounce soda last me 25 minutes solid on a plane... Covid is still very real and I’m sure there will be many other variants. It’s just crazy the hypocrisy many have. It’s just the risk/reward...early in the pandemic I freaked out at somebody at the grocery store who was standing like 3 feet behind me in line at a store and remember telling a Blue collar looking guy at a mini market(put on a fucking mask)...yeah not the first time I’ve stuck my hands in the lions cage. Aside from all the drama most of us got to ski plenty during the pandemic. The worst parts of the pandemic were the 2019-2020 ski season abrupting coming to an end, doing almost no business the first 6 weeks, my social life went to shit and initially I had some fear of catching it. Best parts were all the discussion, news, polarization and drama. I’ll have more ruminations from my Colorado trip later but I have to count money and respond to 6 work days worth of voicemails. Christian college lawyer unqualified to be a federal judge passes a nation wide mandate to favor big business and put people at risk. Typical prolifer disregard of people’s welfare. Think it will stand up on appeal?1 point

Just landed in Philly wow was it amazing once again having a skinny girl in middle seat(I’m always window) and no mask. One or two of FAs were still wearing masks and many of the TSA but they’re mostly minorities. Amoung the passengers, men my age least likely and a lot of girls a bit younger than me and some guys probably with hairy vaginas were wearing masks plus boomer couples.1 point

Up in Marble and things are coming along. Went thru almost white out conditions on Vail Pass to get here. Siding is done, concrete floors getting polished starting tomorrow. Waiting on the inspectors to decide to drive from the other side of the valley before we can do insulation and close up walls. Fingers crossed by July will be ready for CO inspection.1 point

April 16th 2022... Copper mountain Its finally warmer out. Today began with some nice sunshine with a temperaturen in the mid 30s in Silverthorne. I left the hotel house around 820am and I was in the free parking at Copper before 840am and riding the Super Bee lift by 9am. It was a festive atmosphere at Copper mountain with a lot of families. The groomers were mostly cord but not as hero snow as Abasin..groomed a little more solid and off trail had some areas of try fresh and some sort of manky from the strong morning sun. I made my way across from west to east to ptaragjn lift, American flyer and Timberline which had really nice hero snow with the sun shining. I only took the Sierra lift once and it was chilly up in the alpine and as I made my way back across the mountain from timberline to super bee there were some large clouds and by the time I was back in Silverthorne there was full cloud cover. I’m happy to at least have had some sun and no real liftlines at Copper...I stopped at a mini market for more bottled water, iced tea and some snacks and then got Wendy’s this has to be one of the most expensive Wendy’s. I dropped $17. I’m thinking Loveland tomorrow and maybe Abasin on my last ski day Monday.1 point

Woke up to a fresh coating and had no issues getting to the mountain. Parked right by the Forerunner Quad and after a short line, we’re headed up at 835. Snow was grate. Fresh 3 inches at least made everything look better and kept snowing until we left. Less than half of the trails were open so not too many options down. Took 1 Gondy ride and mainly stayed off the FRQ. No lift lines at 1030 had me wondering were everyone was but a guy on the lift said there was a car accident on the access road blocking traffic. Shortly after 11 and the lines showed up. Finished with a couple Mountain Triple laps and headed out at 1145. Wedding is this afternoon so I have to get a shower and put on my drinking shoes. Fun day and felt great to have some fresh snow even if it wasn’t deep. Still nice to have some hit above the boot ❄️1 point

Well he’s also another 1988 Boi. Did you know there was a baby boom in the late 80s...birth rates steadily inscreased throughout the 80s. Without even looking it up I know birth rates are way down now because of the pandemic, the economy and a lot of younger adults married or not don’t want kids. @saltyant how’s your sister?0 points
