  1. I’m staying overnight down there and going to Pumpernicks deli and a Mexican restaurant and probably Trader Joe’s.

  2. That's so rad. You should document your journey to Buckmans in a vlog. You can provide commentary when you leave the hotel house, get in your car, begin driving, play some mad tunes, stop at Wawa for a Steezeburger, continue driving, continue playing mad tunes, arrive at Buckmans, greet the hot ski chick workers, and assess the situation. Then you can vlog detailed reviews of your new helmet and possible socks, under armor, and pair of goggles purchases. Once the ski season starts, you can get a GoPro selfie stick and vlog commentary on each item while skiing. That would be sick bird.

  12. I grabbed one of the boulder chairs we had talked about last year. Stripped it down to bare metal, sealed it with a rust inhibiting primer, and then painted it with a few rattle cans. I "dumpster dove" for replacement fiberglass seats (not included with the bb chairs) at the abandoned Tamiment Resort which has a wrecked Hall lift from the same era. Some advice: Those fuckers have a TON of paint on them, at least 20 layers. Citra-strip was as effective as throwing sand at the tide, would recommend mechanical means of removing the paint, either media blasting or grinding, a flap disk on a grinder worked for me but expect to go through a few. If you detach the chair body from the hanger arm, or the restraint bar from the chair body, reassemble everything before painting. Otherwise you'll scratch the shit out of everything. If you do plan on separating the chair and the hanger, cutting the bolts is probably the way to go. There's so much paint in the threads of the bolts that it's nearly impossible to unscrew the nut, even with a ton of paint stripping.

  13. I got the chair sitting in my backyard. Plan to strip the layers of paint, seal it from rust, replace the plastic seating pads with wood, and paint it over the next couple weekends if the weather holds.

  15. That sad thing about all of this is that the buoy isn't even up and running yet this winter. They took it in for maintenance over the summer so hopefully it will be back out soon ready for a fresh pop.

  16. With the way the long range forecast is, I think this gonna be one of those seasons when VT, NY and PA areas all open about the same time.

  17. Fortunately reading Saltys stupid ass post did have some benefit. I noticed that the wnep card is out. Unfortunately it's complete trash this year. https://wnep.halfoffdeal.com/index.php?index_type=promo-detail&h=4419085
