We're at TLCITW opening up the cabin for the season. LE snow showers whitened the partially frozen ground (2"-3" deep), several times yesterday and last night the guns started blasting. In the 34 years of owning TLCITW this is the earliest time I ever saw/heard them blowing....6 points

Some pics of the top terminal....It looks pretty legit...On my way up I talked to a guy working there(Blue employee)...Said the were looking at Dec. 15th finish date...Where he got that info I do not know...All the guns on Vista looked to be on standby ready to go...

We are in Vegas for a wedding and we decided to head over and spend one night and day in Zion since that is more our thing. Temps were chilly but nice in the sun. Low was in the 20’s but it got up to around 50. Can’t wait to come back and explore more another time.3 points

Magellan route is gonna be deep…operation Blizzard 2.0 this weekend is gonna be LIT…the snowmaking cannons will be blasting away for tens of hours…new lift opens mid December. The stoke market is rising…🛎🛎🛎🛎🔔🔔🛎2 points

Tomorrow I am planning to fly over Bear Creek and Spring Mountain, and if my flying budget allows maybe I'll head up over Blue as well. I want to tour suburban Philly a little while remaining under the Class B 😬2 points

Nothing is as sketchy as the Long Haul lift at Montage with the John Deere and International engine parts in there scattered all over that run the thing occasionally.2 points

I went screaming downhill to the fire station for a call yesterday, got to the first curve in the road and realized I was driving on summer tires. Dang weather went from summer to winter in like 12 hours. Some hard-charger in my neighborhood found the fast grass, though.

They’re focusing on west side terrain which I love. Imagine skiing in a bump line on Freefall opening day and also rad that we won’t have to park at the top.1 point

Probably want to keep the snow off lower main until the new lift is done? And also provide a route (especially a green one) to connect top lodgers with the other open terrain. Plus with the gun upgrade last season on Burma it's cheap in resource cost to lay down snow, like Coming Soon.1 point

I’ll take the long haul over the doubles at blue knob. I’m pretty sure they just let the local meth head run on a human hamster wheel for a free season pass to power those things. Not to mention I think the haul ropes needed to be shortened years back, so much slack and bounce even when not loaded.1 point

Lots of talk about the end of serviceable life for two lifts that I've never had to scoot away from after hearing a horrible clanking noise and realizing it would probably be broken for at least 2 hours. (I'm talking about a bad experience with the quad)1 point
