What an amazing first day! So glad the bottom lodge was open and 3 long runs. Snow was perfect. Had to work Saturday so missed out. I haven’t posted on here in a long while, been busy. Happy season everyone!3 points

I don’t think my sister would let me babysit her niece and nephew. She’s so nervous when I talk to them worrying what’s gonna come out of my mouth. She didn’t appreciate when I talked about teen pregnancy with my niece.2 points

Nah man everybody in the NE has Epic passes these days - hence the crowds. Having both Epic and Indy so I can avoid crowds when I need to is kind of special. Still not as special as parking in the same row in the lower lot at Blue before lifts open every weekend day Dec-March to ski for a couple hours and then drink beer, I get that.2 points

If snow cover on Pennsylvania makes it through the rain forecast tomorrow (and maybe Saturday) - kids and I will be breaking in this year's Indy passes at Shawnee the first rain free day this weekend. Who wants to join us for some low angle turns?1 point

Maybe Ski2Live will let us use his Indy Pass buddy passes and we can all take a road trip to Tussey and afterwards eat sugar cookies and drink hot cocoas from Dollar General in the Tussey parking lot.1 point

Indy adding a new PA mountain tomorrow. Elk would be my first choice - fits the Indy vibe nicely with all fixed grip lifts.1 point

They have a couple of test gates inside the lower lodge this year, which is awesome. One of my two kids' passes didn't work at the test gate on Friday, (I wasn't binging them up until Saturday so tested ahead) and when I went to the Customer Service counter they said it was showing he had a pass but needed a picture. I was sure happy to know that ahead of time instead of at the gate.1 point

The only thing I think I actually worry about is will my pass work at blue ? Every year that first scan feels like gambling but I'm hopeful this year I don't need a note or at least they get me a badge...... maybe nastarglenn could hook it up1 point

And tomorrows weather looks like poo. I cant see blowing snow to watch it wash away, and yeah i get that some of the base will be leaving us too. Thursday night should hold a refresher. then we just need to make it to about wednesday when they can crank things up and be productive.0 points
