This morning was quite nice. @JFskiDan and @Dirtwolf were there as well. Not sure of anybody else. The snow was nice, the crowds were low, the precipitation wasn't terrible.
Thought about a similar play but got wound up getting chores done at home and kept rolling. Should have done it and taken the boys so I wouldn’t have to tomorrow 😂
We went today after lunchtime. Managed to miss the storms for an hour and a half, and there were probably 25 people total on the mountain, which was awesome.
Hey, welcome aboard. You might have noticed some fairly useless posts in your thread so sorry about that. Kind of an inside joke thing I guess?
To answer your question I don't think any of us will be at Jack Frost this weekend. The overwhelming majority of us go to Blue Mountain (the true mountain). Be sure to take some pics of Jack Frost and post up a trip report if your time there though!!!
Ski you tomorrow I’m easing into the skison…I had a mini recovery in the thick refrozen snot on lower paradise last weekend..if I had spaced out for a second I would have gone ass over tea kettle. I’m pumped for those that got out earlier I thought about going out mid day but got pre occupied with other stuff. I think tomorrow is going to be fun and pleasant temperatures.
Cover was fairly thin but no bare spots or ice. Started pouring just as we were getting into car. Hope it holds up. Open tomorrow then closed for the weekdays.
Blue is certainly coming out swinging this year. I should have bought a pass. Next year it is happening for sure. The snowmaking cloud in the valley this morning is quite the sight.
