Hey All, I’m back from a quick morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. The temperature was in the mid 30s under overcast sky’s and light winds. In the house were Atomic Jeff, Rodney, Root, Bethlehem ford guy, Harold and Oz. First civilian six pack to coming soon which had a delightful natural packed powder surface. Was really good conditions and smooth cord. The junky snow from the weekend on lower paradise was covered up and very pleasant although a little slow. Me and Atomic Jeff with Drew right in our tails lapped coming soon six times..debooted and I was back on the road headed to work at like 10:05. Here at work now already took one phone call…JADIP6 points

I found out the reason for the new trail name Curzis Cabin. A man named Curzi has a cabin and property on the other side of the overflow lot at Blue and Blue has been trying to buy that land for years and Curzi finally sold the property as long as Blue named a trail after him. Apparently the plan is to turn the tubing area into a learning area, extend Main Street onto the current learning area and move tubing across the street.5 points

I thought it was better than yesterday....Lower Paradise was starting to get a little spicy for my skiing talents so called it....Took a run down the conservative side of TCS and found it kinda slick ...and Burma was OK but a little slow...Even though things seem a little stale terrain wise I think Blue has done a pretty god job with coverage and we never had to park in the top lot...Happy to be on the snow again...4 points

Focused on couple time while at Roxbury, gonna hit Hunter tomorrow. With light weekday traffic and cold temps it should still be quite nice from the 7" they got Sunday through Sunday night.2 points

I had some kind of crazy fall on Coming Soon. Perhaps a snow snake? Not sure. Minding my own business on the icey head wall and all of a sudden sliding down, in a split. Came to a stop with my knees splayed out. And I’m like how the hell do I get out of this ?? It could have been a disaster to my knees. Thank you Rossignol FKSs now known as Look. Rolled over and gathered myself up. And on down the hill. It did take awhile.2 points

I like how Blue has a Colorado connection. Ski2Live spent last December in Colorado in this song but really he was at a swanky motel near the foot of hunter mountain.1 point

Also worth noting that they also own the giant parcel to the left of this on in the pic, so plenty of space to set it up right over there.1 point

Great idea to look there. Can't wait until they move toobing over there so they can get the gapers out of the Main Street area. Skiing Main Street top to bottom straight down without having to do those annoying flat areas will be sick1 point

Ben has high standards when it comes to ski conditions. Maybe he can join you on your Colorado trip.1 point

I saw you swagger out as I was de-bootifying in lower lodge. Your tele-pimp-swagger-walk is on point!1 point

Today was Baskin Robbins, you got all 32 flavors in one run. The snow falling was super nice but we need another way down. Coming soon was good but the only real pitch is almost always compromised. Still super good weekend1 point

Best ski day so far at Blue this year, not sure what @Benm was smoking, but I wish he would share! Ok, substitute @GrilledSteezeSandwich post, since I'm currently drunk from sitting in the upper lodge for too long with @tarponhead and bar toad Keith. Arrived in the lower lot around 7:20am with little fanfare on the ride up. Nobody in the house at the moment, save Rodney and myself. Maybe @Dirtwolf in the PASR row, but not sure to some light flurries. 32' at the top, 34' in the lot. Bumpers started showing up a tad later. In line, snow started falling a bit harder which made for some nice ambiance. 2nd civilian chair with @Dirtwolf maybe? I don't remember. The snow was nice and grippy and no SP to slow you down. Paradise had some similar snow with a few ice spots here and there. Burma run was more/less empty but too much effort going over that far. Rode the Vista to see if anything else was done up top: nada. Did have a chat with a SP who pulled up. He said they were told definitely by the end of the year, if not before. Rest of the day was mostly hard flurries and lapping the ridge on Coming Soon and Paradise which was a ton of fun and some intense thigh burn. Kept @tarponhead out for 18 runs and then retired to parking lot and Last Run Lounge for beers. Did see @momskeeztoo was down on lower Coming Soon, but she said she was fine over a beer at Last Run Lounge. Still "snowing" here in H-town as I type this.1 point

Only if Tyrone was staying in Room 112 where the players dwell..I can almost guarantee this song wasn’t blasting from Ski2Lives hacienda0 points
