  1. Back home from another fun day at Blue. Arrived in the lower lot around 8:15am with an outside temperature of 27' with calm winds and overcast skies. No guns were ablaze, but Falls looking groomed and shortly thereafter a SP cruised down, so yet another @RootDKJ down will be had. No precipitation had been encountered on the ride up, but temps on the South side of the Blue ridge were in the lower 30's, so hoping for the best. In the house was @tarponhead and Bethlehem Ford guy crew. There must have been a newbie at the quad open because he couldn't figure out how to open all the gates and opened just one successfully which happened to be the one @tarponhead was in. He lucked out and obtained the first civilian quad solo by 4 chairs, while the rest of us complained. I skirted in front of others and entered through the only functioning gate to chase down @tarponhead down a glorious, grippy almost buttery Coming Soon run. Midway to Lower Main conditions were just as good if not better than Coming Soon and the lack of crowds gave each run entirely to us. Lazy to the Falls was silently smooth and the Falls headwall was a bit slick but free of cookies and marbles. The bottom of the Falls was solid, frozen cord. Precipitation started out as rain and sleet but later turned to some decent snow for a while until turning back to sleet that pelted all exposed skin. Took a ride up the Vista chair to see what was going on at the top of the new lift. Some workers were mucking with the safety bars on the chairs, probably just final adjustments. Also in the valley they were loading up trucks with various bits of equipment and one of the big diggers and driving them off. With the gloves sufficiently soaked and the rain coming down harder, we bailed around noon to the bar coated in ice like a couple of glazed donuts.

  2. A Bluebird beauty 20° start no wind . Hit Seneca first for some lil bumps with cookies Tunkannock had a few icy spots. I was eyeing Lackawanna but didn’t poach it. It looked like there was plenty natural. I did some fast groomer cruising but eventually went back to Seneca after the E lift had lots of stops and starts. The few beginners I think migrated over there as there wasn’t any beginner terrain options off the East side of B lift and the only bumps I found were a little sliver on the East side of upper tunk. Left at 1:30 I wanted to stay longer but work phone blew up

  4. It's the most wonderful time of the year. Who's in the Ho Ho Ho-use this weekend? Assuming @GrilledSteezeSandwichwill not be because he didn't start the roll call but if I recall he'll be riding his sleigh to Virginia. Saturday morning dress like an astronaut elf because it'll feel like the North Pole. Hopefully the snow conditions will make the good list however (the snow makers definitely have). Sunday the PASRs that weren't on the naughty list will likely be opening presents so no skiing...assuming@saltyantis getting coal. Monday however is an extension of this weekend and it's looking like we'll see some sun with temps a bit warmer than Saturday, but cold enough to keep the sugar plum fairies away from the mountain... hopefully for a long time. I'm planning on Saturday and Monday for sure. Happy holidays!

  11. Major props for getting at it, good to hear falls is good and main St held up. You may have been the last good runs for a minute. Hard to figure it will be good Saturday morning.

  12. Plan to hit Okemo on Xmas - a day when conditions will benefit from their having one of the most aggressive and well equipped grooming operations, and the low Xmas crowds will make accessible the 2 bubble chairs (1 heated!) to provide warming opportunities on a cold day. For Monday I am on the fence between hitting Snow or West (where crowds will likely be smaller - though I am sure it will be a popular day to ski there too). Staying in Williamstown MA ($80/night including tax - with breakfast!) So either is viable.

Random church website in Vegas On a different chat bot website for Salesforce manufacturing On Kenya's ministry of defense website On an Australian mattress website On a translation service website I think we all know how much Blue loves their stock photos considering they had a picture of a bubble chair on their website for years.

  19. 10"+ the last two storms. Slopes excellent powder conditions, no ice anywhere. Opening more slopes almost daily. Blowing Delaware, TP, Slalom, Lenape, Schuylkill, and Mahican. Quad is supposed to open Thursday, although they were grooming lower Tunkhannock and the snowbowl yesterday so it may open today. No crowds.. bar's open beer's cold... Edit.. the Herminator said there were a couple of icy spots on upper Tunk..

  20. I saw they have the mobile Troegs tap house getting pulled around the mountain again this year. That's probably the most important information for Montage right now.
