  1. @GrilledSteezeSandwich- that last photo should be posted on Blues website since they love to use stock images. Maybe they can use it near the photo of the bubble chair. —— I was waiting for the Schif at the top of the OG-6 and tried to catch a photo of the PASR crew. No one is looking though 🤷🏼‍♀️ when @saltyantwas above us, I snapped this pic of the row. @Benm looks like he’s in a mega church and getting his praise on.😂 on the way back to Philly, we saw this helicopter dangling doodads on mcarthur road. Snow was sugary. Lazy Mile was my fav run and dreamweaver was my least. Entertaining day regardless.

  2. Made the drive up yesterday which was pretty spicy the last hour or so due to snow. They reported 9 inches in the last 24 hours and it was much needed. The mountain skied great with the natural snow groomed in and we even found a little bit of fresh powder. Thin cover in a lot of places but that was to be expected. I don’t know the mountain all that well, but we really cruised all over. Found out that our ikon passes worked in the fast track line too which was huge. Saved us hours of lift lines on a busy day. We skied right on every lift like a bunch of little bitches while everyone else was waiting in huge lift lines. It was great. Tomorrow I think we’ll ski Stratton.

  3. Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and it was in the mid 20s under cloudy sky’s. In the house were Johnny Law, Enjorales, Schifdawg, Nancy, Justo, Rose, JFDan, Toast, PARidge, Bethlehem ford crew, Falco, Enjorales cousin, BenM, Nastar Glenn, Dirtwolf, Mute, Ryan, Boo Bear, Becky Boo, ZZSlope and many more. First time ever starting at the new super summit safari six pack to Main Street which was nice firm cord on the top and a mixture of conditions lower half but not bad…the skeet spot is impressive. Then over to the quad and I did nightmare to dreamweaver and the snow was decent but it was that smooth. I did a lazy mile to falls which was alright still some rolly Polly areas. I did a Widowmaker from the top and good snow but with gates on the right was narrow and crowded. Midway had some of the nicest snow on the hill. Paradise was deep deep sugar and I ended up bailing on that for my first Paraweaver run of the season. Last run I skied easy out to vista to burma to yeti to burma to shuttle to the old lower park which I think is called trails end. The parking lot was fun and I had some beer and hungout until noon, it felt cooler in the lot as the sun never came out and the temperature never got out of the 30s. The highlight of the lower lot was seeing a small plane keep circling us overhead..well turns out it was PASRs own Salty and we were all relieved that he didn’t dive bomb us Kamikaze style. All in all while the skiing conditions weren’t grate it was a fun day at Blue the true.

  4. The main street express proved its worth today because the snow on west peak was much better than it was on the east peak so we rode the MSE a good bit. Although first run on coming soon was nice. Razors was closed but it looked really bad. Upper main was good too. Lower looked like it had bad diarrhea. NMDW was meh. Glad it's open though. I was waiting for Salty to pull off the aerobatics but that never happened. Judging by his reaction I think @Benmmust've seen air force one. Lol. Fun day

  6. NMDW is my fav trail. it wasnt great today, but i figure even a bad NMDW is better than no NMDW, which i know when they put those big stupid bumps on it, we can still ski it, but the flow is gone once they do that. Shicola Chute-midway was probably the best run. We determined you cannot see Cuzi's cabin from the new lift. @AtomicSkier @GrilledSteezeSandwich @mute1080......if this verifies......yeehaw!

  8. Grate to see you'se guys today. It must have been amazing to hear the sheer power of the Rotax 912ULS 100 HP engine as I went full power over the lot. Flew over 6 ski resorts today - Blue, Shawnee, Camelback, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and Eagle Rock. Was going to Bear Creek but decided to save a few dollars and skip it since I saw it off in the distance. Sick bird!

  9. Skied here today. Wanted to go somewhere close and easy to see how my leg was doing after a bad fall 6 days ago at Jay - had been limping most of the week. No lines and a nice groomed surface on all open runs with no ice or bare spots. Best run was Snow Chute to Challenge which I did 6x. Looks like they will open Floyd's within next few days unless Sun-Mon storm is rain and sets them back - all they need to do is groom out the whales and make some snow on the run out. River shot is still bare and everything else is open. Leg felt fine being back on skis. Considering heading to VT Sun-Mon to catch tfreshness. AM freshies.

  10. No contest Snowbowl Mt Lemmon has a crazy ecosystem. Saguaros at the base of the mountain 2600’ Pines up top. The drive is fairly long almost an hour eventually pines up top and 180” average snowfall. Not much vertical but descent pitch in places. More a novelty to ski . There were some patches of snow around last April. Tucson was 95° and the top of the ski valley was 50° I liked hiking the granite moguls.

  11. Thursday night forecast was calling for 6-10 at Gore, drove through rain until it turned to snow just south of Lake George. Drove through some Star Wars snow on the way to the hill Friday morning, only about 3” fell but first few freshly coated groomers were sublime, Lies opened up mid morning and was mad technical navigating wales , rocks and bumps. Mild temps, falling snow, low crowds and watching kids from all over the world huck their meat in the World University games made for a great day! Pico ski’d awesome today, 7or so inches groomed in for some early morning western groometish screamers before lapping summit glades au natural until legs and snow got beat up. Heard crowds at K were krazy, we had another day of country club skiing. Christened the new skis with a nice gash but as @indiggio says, outta the box and into the rocks ! Magic tomorrow on Indy Pass

  26. Dancing Bob who I think you’ve seen at Musikfest dancing in circles like Steve Urkel pretty much only posts in rhyme form. He does plays on words, he says,”Id be a better wrapper at Boscovs wrapping Xmas presents than rapping at karaoke” and when my friend Katie turned 38, he said she was a 38 special. Here’s an old video of Dancing bob dancing..he always has props like umbrella hats, one glove like Michael Jackson

  28. A few hours later and you would have been airborne if you skied that line the same way. Most of the place was floaty potatoes with a few deep sugar spots. Ultra rowdy on NMDW. The kind of snow where you need super soft knees and just surf it out. In the snow from 6-8. Cosmic snow tubing looks pretty cool.

  29. Good Ole Tussey, I skied there a bunch with my cousin many moons ago when he went to State College. Only place less concerned with safety than blue knob, of the 3 trails one had more than one cinder block. I also love they have 4 ways down but like 20 trails allegedly. Tussey is Spring Mtn for state college or Doe mtn before Bear became Bear. Blue Knob is worth the drive Tussey only if you got a date to pick up meth in Boalsburg.

  33. Another night session in the books...Conditions took you from zero to hero in one run.....But conditions shouldn't be like this in January...Got two NASTSAR runs in....Lift lines started to get painful around seven ....Fun night again...after many years of not riding at night it feels good to be out at night again....

  34. We picked a good day to go to Jay with the tram open this weekend for the first time of the year about 2/3 of the non-glade terrain open. Unfortunately there was a big ice patch on the top of Ullr and I had a nasty fall on it on my third run, bruising my leg badly enough that it was the end of my ski day. The girls skied a bit more without me. Did get a nice pic of them at the top after our first ride up the tram.

  35. It was a good day at Elk. First ski day of the season for me and the closest I have got to Vermont since March. Freezing temperatures in the morning warmed up to 40s for a blue sunny day, but not too the point of too warm I don't think. Snow surface softened up nicely on most of the trails and was quite good except for a few heavily trafficked or shaded spots. Generally the trails got slicker again in the afternoon. There is still natural snow cover in the area. I am not sure what conditions will look like later this week with the temperatures, they may or may not be able to blow tonight yet. It was busy but lines were not bad at all especially after they started up the north double next to the quad to get all lifts spinning. Ski on north lifts, lodge side was a minute or two wait until after lunch. Excellent snow surface for telemark skiing and there were a half dozen other guys I spotted. I switched over to downhill at lunch to avoid the slicker spots later in the day and to rip some runs. Also I did leg day tuesday for the first time in a while which was not a forward thinking move. Tunkhannock - nice snow, icy patches, not quite bumped up yet but it was getting there Lackawanna - ungroomed, bare spots, was somewhat icy Seneca - ungroomec, bumps starting to appear, bare spots Wyalusing - very good shape Susquehanna - mint 👌 Slalom - good Delaware - narrow spots got icy but it was regroomed mid day from like 2:30-3:30 and was pretty nice afterword Tioga - slick, crowded 🎳 West slope - soft, nice condition Lower tunkhannock/spurs - good soft surface Wissahickon - crunchy but not too slick Lenape - good shape in morning becoming icy in afternoon Natural cover has been poached and there seems to have been attempts to make snow on the yet to be opened trails. Terrain parks are not open. The ticket printer by the north lifts is convenient even if you order on your phone while already there. Just make sure you get the email because there is nowhere else with your qr code unless you talk to guest services... Also it would be nice if you could ski back to the north side parking lot at closing time rather than taking the shuttle since patrol ropes it all off like half an hour before although I do understand they need to sweep it.

  36. A Bluebird beauty 20° start no wind . Hit Seneca first for some lil bumps with cookies Tunkannock had a few icy spots. I was eyeing Lackawanna but didn’t poach it. It looked like there was plenty natural. I did some fast groomer cruising but eventually went back to Seneca after the E lift had lots of stops and starts. The few beginners I think migrated over there as there wasn’t any beginner terrain options off the East side of B lift and the only bumps I found were a little sliver on the East side of upper tunk. Left at 1:30 I wanted to stay longer but work phone blew up
