Fantastic day. Started with actual winter conditions, ended with spring slush. Skied everything I wanted to a few times. First time doing Superstar, was rad; and some trails I didn't do back when I was a noob. Skied 9-3:40 with about 30 minutes or so of cumulative breaks. I'm pretty toast now, time for SUJOPO6 points

Peak to creek... Did it once with a level 5, every bump the turtle poked its head out a bit farther. Made it into the Skyship restroom without a second to spare.6 points

What a fantastic dayat CB! Couple inches overnight and snow for most of the morning really filled everything in. I really wanted to step up my picture game, but my Iphone set a new record and was dead by 9:30 am. Snapped 2 pics from the first lift ride. ran the usual laps with a quick lap off the north lift before meeting Barb back down at East River. After we split up again i ran back up to the north lift to get a few more fresh laps there, then went back towards hard face for something a little more challenging. Big drop to get in, but rewarded with some deep turns. Down through some trees, and back to the Paradise lift. Didnt quite make the route i was looking for that @RidgeRacer and i took that dropped us down right on top of Rambo. It can get pretty interesting back there, its rocky and cliffy, and its hard to navigate, so i moved onto the frontside to finish out my day. Over at horseshoe springs i was rewarded with some untouched on a small steep face, after the trees, but had to hoof it out again. Very low crowds today, actually less then yesterday. Finished up on the frontside which wasnt crowded, and could easily find some nice soft snow on the sides of the trails. snow pics from Barbs after a phone recharge. Usually the mountain view. Not so much today quick session tomorrow then off to the airport.4 points

Very short session for me this morning. Fighting a head cold and the visibility was pretty bad. Started at Silver Queen but it wasn’t loading and we heard them say it would be an hour. So we had to skate back uphill to the Red Lady Lift. First run down Paradise and I couldn’t see shit. Took it real slow. Told Dan I was going to go down to East River to see if it was better down there. It was a bit. Took a couple from there then met Dan. I decided to just call it a day, didn’t seem to be my day. Dan took a few pics before his phone died. I only took a few also. Snowing hard now and will continue all day3 points

I’m gonna wrap this up with some more good bad and ugly. Good: The variety of terrain that was skied. In Deep powder multiple laps on Grand, deep deep Cirque and the gully after the chutes and below expert chutes and scattered all around, Hobacks powder, lower faces powder, amphitheater powder and cord..not much chop..screaming fast empty groomers when 20 below. Bad: I had issues with the hot water in the shower..it seemed like around 530 when I wanted to shower not much hot water and lower water pressure. Wasn’t an issue in the morning. Plenty of towels though. Ugly: no warm nuts offered on the first class flight to Jackson hole because it was a breakfast flight.2 points

Yeah, that's Mike. Drew is next to him. I'm in the white pants. Donny is in the middle and Rick is behind him. I think Tarpon might be in the back left and Slim took the picture.2 points

At BC for a late afternoon/evening session...First couple of laps had the snow was really soft and creamy..Once the sun set things started to firm up on areas less traveled...Just skied stuff off of the F chair....They got some brown stuff showing through a few places....and it's gettin thin on Extreme...Skied for about an hour and a half and had a super good time....2 points

Back relaxing at Barbs place after another fun day at CB. Switched up the routine this morning to hit the steeper groomers off Silver Queen first then over to run some fast laps off Paradise. Dipped in some trees to find some really crusty stuff with yesterdays warm afternoon temps. Went down to the trees off East River, which were better but getting firmer every day. Bumps are still decent, but kinda depends upon what side of the trail they are on. Lunch break around noon, and thats when the clouds rolled in and visibility was poor at best. Clouds yielded snow, went back to the frontside to the trees at Horseshoe Springs, which skied well, but there are a few rocky areas to avoid. Ended up in a gully that was up in either direction to get out, so worked off lunch doing that. Low crowds today, no Eagles jerseys. Looks like about 2" fell in the afternoon, and hopefully the overnight snow produces.2 points

This morning started out promising. Started out on the Silver Queen and did a warm up lap on Paradise. Then headed over and did a lap on Keystone which is a steep run for me. Those 2 runs were best of the day. Things started getting skied off and the runs crowded after that. Weird bro vibe and dudes skiing like assholes had me saying I was gonna call it a day early. A few of Dan off of Keystone Dan was going to stay for a few more and then come back and go to town for lunch.2 points

Another great day at CB with Barb. Cold start, but sun was out in force. Nice fast groomer runs off of Paradise, and then some trees and bumps down at East River before lunch. Ran some laps off of Silver Queen after lunch, some slicky slicky but still edge-able, dipped in some trees, played in some bumps. Trees are pretty tight at CB, so probably spending more time in the bumps. legs feel way better today. My Iphone 2 is circling the drain, and the battery goes dead really fast, so picture time is limited to first thing in the am, or right after i can charge it a lunch, so pics are pretty limited. Salty that’s when you get to skate and use your poles….fantastic like the sunset over the green mountains. TFTI1 point

No thanks, even if it was open I've heard horror stories. I was bitching about Bear Paw or whatever the green is and it only had a few short flat sections.1 point

You usually visit killington during the Bump competition weekend, does that mean you usually don’t get to ski Outer Limits?1 point

A must do run is Great Eastern which is one of the longest trails in the northeast, or the longest. @Johnny Law will know. My favorite root is to take K1 Gondola to Bear Traax to Launch Pad and then Great Eastern all the way down to the other gondola. It's easy to take a wrong turn and end up somewhere you didn't intend to go. The fun of Killington1 point

Yeah I stopped at my car for 4 minutes for a banana, Gatorade and granola bar. Plus I stripped a layer. I love the convenience of the car being close to the lift, but I got stuck on some flat trails like stupid Bear Cub twice which was labor intensive so it's still not 100 percent effort free1 point

My data is limited so I'll have to post them when I find wifi again. There were some rad glades off the Ramshead lift which were sickbird1 point

Good point. It will be nice and toasty tomorrow I think so I guess I won't wear my hoodie. I hate wasting time going back to the car to drop off an article of clothing.1 point

@mute1080 I don't know what Friday will be like but the Bear Mountain Lodge seems to be the most convenient place to park. Im extremely lazy when it comes to logistics and it was really easy. I got my lift ticket from the dispenser (if you need to do that) and sat in my car until 8:45. 2 minute walk to the lift and there were about 10 people in line. If you want a really nice groomer hit Skyeburst first thing. It felt like a western groomer. Now it's a bit choppy1 point

I always wear the same things so I don't have to think. It's low 30s. There is actual snow out here!! Like not machine made, granular, corn, sugar, ice, or snirt. It's rad1 point

Some gapers in a Nissan from Massachusetts couldn't get up the snow covered road to Bear Mountain Lodge. I guess they forgot their snow chains at home. Good thing I got a Subaru so I breezed right past them with the utmost of ease.1 point

Oops - looking at forecast I was thinking Friday PM could maybe be nice, rain-free and pre-freeze - but checked for tix and this Friday afternoon is not considered off peak. Will ski elsewhere if we ski.1 point

Hey All, Today felt like a Sophie B Hawkins song because it felt like springtime on this February morning. I arrived at the lower lot at 830am and it was in the mid 30s in the valley and warmer on the hill. In the house were Dirtwolf, Atomic Jeff, C1, The Bethlehem Ford crew and a couple hundred boomers and goobers. First run on Challenge was pretty mad..terrible grooming with ridges and divots and cookies everywhere. Nightmare to dreamweaver was good..a bit of a swale in the middle. Raceway to midway to lower Main Street was good and I repeated that..some mini cookies but not bad. Main Street top to bottom was also good. I think the run of the day was coming soon..it was firm but pretty smooth and lower paradise was empty enough that you could keep all your speed. I skied that twice to round out the quick sunny prework session.1 point

Back from a beautiful morning session. Much warmer today even though it was -10 for my morning dog walk. Yesterday we got on the lift at 9:02, today it was 9:04. Epic mix gives you all the stats. Snow was MUCH improved today! It skied fast. Sun was out! Did a few on Paradise then headed down to East River. Black Eagle, one of my go to runs, was icy. I called it icy, Dan called it slick. couple of Dan Couple of me I left after 14 runs Dan moving onto bigger stuff. It was nice of him to hang w me this morning. had the Korean beef again for lunch, pic for Doug1 point
