Whew what a great morning! Yesterday was super warm in the high 30’s and sunny. Today the promised storm finally arrived. Webcam said 4” this morning. Been snowing hard all day. The last few days of coughing fits have left my ribs feeling like I was in an MMA match. Popped some extra strength Mucinex, loaded my pockets with cough drops and away we went. I could not believe how empty it was! I guess CB peeps don’t bother unless it’s at least 6”. Skied right onto every lift. Found some well spaced trees that had mid calf powder, they were fun. then the wind picked up and you could barely see 5’ in front of you. What it looked like at the base, you can hardly make out the lift tower5 points

$263 for a mere add-on?? The beloved Mountain Creek is offering a year and a half long exclusive full time, no restrictions, season pass for $289.99, all ages, all days, all believes. MC clientele knows how to hedge their risks! Still 500 passes left, btw. And if you're not excited about driving to MC, you can always fly and collect your NJ share of handwaves from one (or each?) of MC parking lots.2 points

All the water run off from melting snow today will be really good for the snowmaking retention ponds.2 points

Your sins are forgiven on this day of kindness. One can expect to be hit with some collateral damage in this Great E-War. Grilled Steeze did you buy your Blue Mountain season pass yet?? I wish I hadn't wasted my $50 gift card from last year on awful fish n' chips at the top lodge restaurant. I think they caught the fish in a nearby zinc pond.2 points

Drove up here Sunday. We had a little r@in on our arrival, then temperatures plummeted, with a light dusting of snow during the night. Monday at Sugarbush was less than stellar. Flat light and icy. Didn’t even bother with Castle Rock, as there were warnings all over of thin cover. Slide Brook Express Quad not running 🙁. Got about 6 inches of snow Monday night, then a sunny cold day. Conditions at Mt Ellen just about perfect. Looks like another sunny day on tap today. A picture of the sweet cabin I rented and some more pics of mountain1 point

They can attempt to refresh what they are losing now. The fog is thick at the moment, sun coming out and high of 60. I may head out later for a spring RAW1 point

Only from juice boxes which are an efficient and cost effective way to stay hydrated while tackling the numerous slopes of the northeast. I first got the idea from @Ski2Live Live2Ski1 point

Looks like nice snowmaking temperatures Friday night into Saturday..perhaps through most of the day Saturday. Seems like saturdays have been the cold day and spring skiing during the week. Like my third favorite Katie Perry song Hot and Cold1 point

Reminds me of this song…was on the FM radio a lot another song about nostalgia..not as good as Eddie $$$$$ but still a legend.1 point

No doesn’t work that way you already offered your buddy pass to Airhead..also SaltyAnus it’s hard to understand what you’re saying with Ski2Lives dick in your mouth.1 point

GSS patrolling the parking lot on a scooter is probably gonna scare kids away... Couldn't have said it better myself. Growing up in the mean streets of Chester County, I understand the importance of making sure nobody be disrespecting our turf1 point

Chair 1 (Chets) bumps kick ass if it is cloudy/snowy and power laps there will kick your ass. If the weather is nice, spend some time on the ridge since it has some of the coolest and most unique terrain anywhere. Grab a free ridge cat pass from the pass office, ski Super Nova and Velvet Hammer, hike off the cat and ski Marmot, 13010, Rock Chutes. Hike the other way off the top of chair 9 and ski Super Bowl and Wild Child. If you want a big air with a clean landing, hit Crack Rock in the middle of Super Bowl. Patrol Rock (which is in the picture I posted in the middle of patrol bowl) will likely be completely covered by that point. I am coaching on the 11th, but may be free-skiing there on the 12th and could possibly show you around if interested. If you have the opportunity, ski A-Basin as well. Pali, Steep Gullies and East Wall have some of the best terrain in Colorado.1 point

I am pretty sure I have a sinus infection now. Ugh. Day 9 of feeling lousy. But I have a friend here so skiing it is. I heard the last 2 days were the worst crowds people have seen here. Glad I skipped it. I left my friend at a lesson as he hasn’t skied in over 20 years, yikes. He gave me slightly different info when said he was coming. But he has a great attitude and I give him lots of credit for getting out there. Another poor visibility day. Headed right down to East River from Paradise. And to be honest it wasn’t too good down there either. Started dumping snow. After about 4 laps, I tried to find some mellow trees off the front side. Ran those a bit and now taking a break for lunch. If the visibility does not improve gonna call it a day. Snow was supposed to arrive tomorrow thru Wednesday night. Seems it’s early. Forecast is 10-20”. A few pics from the tree runs1 point

Snow was pretty sticky this morning but otherwise a fantastic Saturday morning. 30* and the sun was blasting on the freshly made overnight snow. Guns went off around 10 and no waits in A and B lift till I left at 12. Fun new park set up as well.1 point

Like 10 years ago I paid 7 and change at the window. The year your talking about she was hard up for money. I will pay whatever to never have to ski with kooks like you.1 point

At BC for a late afternoon/evening session...First couple of laps had the snow was really soft and creamy..Once the sun set things started to firm up on areas less traveled...Just skied stuff off of the F chair....They got some brown stuff showing through a few places....and it's gettin thin on Extreme...Skied for about an hour and a half and had a super good time....1 point

$290 pass for Mountain Creek not even remotely tempting even with 1000 vertical feet 105 minutes from my home. Have never had a great ski experience there though I gave it half a dozen shots when it was 45 minutes from my home. Eventually figured out the (no longer open to the public) place less than half the size and half the price a mile away was way more fun.0 points

Reminds me of national lampoons European vacation. It’s nice when they give you the whole can of fizzy pop or juice. Can fill that little cup up about tree times.0 points
