Stayed at my friend’s off grid cabin last night. Elevation about 10,500’. This is the latest in the season she can remember it snowing.

That's cool AF, I'm normally a very cool customer but there are definitely a couple peeps it would melt my brain. The short tie too is a very tough look to pull off so job well done......unbutton the top button and hide it with the tie is my method.... it looks a little worse but who am I the king of England ?

Did the Distinguished gentleman’s charity ride this morning. Beautiful day to be out on the bike. Had about 60 riders

i will stick with them putting more guns up around the place over a diesel generator. I dont think they had that many times they were asked not to run stuff. i can kinda figure out what one of those fan guns take for power, but pumping water is another thing. i can only imagine it takes a huge amount of power to move 5000 GPM uphill, and with some type of pressure.

The fan guns cover more ground though so maybe they are thinking bang for the buck and throw down more coverage on the flat spots. Throw more guns at the intersections and cross overs which generally are the toughest. Somebody else said it too but fans don't require compressed air so again more bang for your buck. The far side of razors is always thinner and I can see the groomer being like yo pushing this slop across is dumb but I'd throw all these guns up high on the flats and same down low. The new sixer was thin all year.

You guys act like KSL is going to start running this place with good desicions this quick? lol, lol. I dont know how it would be if it wasnt at least a little fucked up.

everywhere i have gone lately with recently improved snowmaking has those new stick guns with the orange anodized heads like the ones on coming soon

There was a post late season about them getting 20% newer fan guns and being able to open 50% of the terrain 75% faster. it was really kind of a funny post, mathmatecally it made no sense, and there was a post on here about it. it was like they got a math lesson from JFBB. Long story short, they made it sound like they were putting them on trails that are marked for early season. Early season is now a little different without the doubles, so, some on Homie stretch? Connector? Or they could all end up on Razors.

Having extra guns is probably more a hedge against a season like we just had with warm temps all year than anything else. More firepower to use during small cold windows. Fan guns because they can use them without upgrading any compressors.

Honestly if they can get conditions that we saw on coming soon and spread that across the mountain it would be a huge upgrade. I know CS doesn't have fan guns but whatever they did there I'm hoping they do everywhere.

26 fan new fan guns is a lot. I wonder where they will be putting them? I didn't really see anything about that. Love to see them investing in the place!

It was him. Reason I was there actually. He was filming a show to promote his book at the Beacon theater. Only way in was to get an invite. They hit me up with the invite and free tix so I took the day off and went. Fucking cool experience for sure with cameras, directors, multiple takes and shit. Lots of just talking and bullshitting in between takes which was so cool. Bunch of songs etc. Either way I hung out after to see if I could get an autograph. He didn’t stop to sign but walked around, chatted with some folks, thanked peeps for coming then bailed. Seeing the whole band in Vegas later this year so maybe then but then. Lol
