Didn't even read the passes yet so thanks for the heads up. We hit up Keystone Pub beforehand for dinner and @Boo Bearwon a boot bag at our showing. Definitely got the stoke factor rising since I went and bought new skis the next day.
They say it’s not how you start it’s how you finish..that’s a freaking lie…at least when it cums to snowmaking..hit me with your best shot..fire away. @skifreak any sacrifices for the snow gods? And don’t steal your moms bloomers again..
definitely no hike park last year.
Whatever they had last year, and i do kinda think it was along the lines of what you mentioned, was just enough. 6-8 hours a night of snowmaking takes fooooorrrreeeevvvveeeer to get some shit down. maybe the new shit they have will help with that, but i always thought the old shit would make more snow in marginal temps. notice i didnt say good snow.
Excellent, I look forward to doing some runs with you this year then! We will bomb the famous front 3 as I dont think many other PASR friends will frequent CBK when good opportunities arise.
That kinda went over your head. i see thats for palmerton, but i just dont see making snow for maybe 2 nights will amount to anything.
So when you said, "lets go" i said "where, Killington?" because i dont think they will make any snow in Palmerton, or at least any snow that will be of any benefit - (kinda looks to get a little warm next week)
But they have snow in Killington. Man made, but they are open, and making snow.
Decided to give this thing a go. It feels like it may be more benefitial than I thought to do reps on this thing for training body positioning and balance. Also a suprisingly good cardio workout.
Lets not be silly now, if opening day is post Blue opening. There is no reason to attend CBK opening day to high five camels and split cocoa and cookies with a rainbow hat lady.
