  1. I have to add some intel from the Kunk... Overnight and morning temps at the base have been consistently lower than advertised. Just sayin...

  2. A new Pizza Hut just opened in West Chester borough and I'm very happy about it. There was no pizza hut within like a 30 mile radius of me for a while there.

  3. Pizza hut was the bomb when the kids would get free pizzas for reading books and Mrs S and I would get icy cold pitchers of coors light

  4. I saw a legit stand alone pizza hut restaurant down near Havre de Grace, MD. I didn't have time to stop but I will for sure, gotta see if they have the red cups and pan Pizza pan.

  8. This was a family tradition of ours too. My dad loved those pitchers of beer while we ate our free personal pizza. I wish there was a Book-It for adults.

  9. Need a space to keep all our toys. Kayaks, paddles, fishing gear, archery, bikes, skis, Jeep tow and recovery gear, hiking packs and boots. Any plans for a whole house generator? That was a purchase we never regretted.

  10. yeah......kinda thinking im going to need to find another activity for Thanksgiving weekend to keep myself occupied with. If you believe in long range stuff, i mean temperature wise i kind of do, look at like the 4th or 5th of December as of now.

  11. The old stand alone restaurants were so cool....everybody knows the red cups....checkered tablecloths...... going to a pizza hut back then was like really going out for pizza. it was cool. now i feel like the pizza is just a little bit better than @Benm's fav little Caesars hot and ready cardboard.

  14. I think the one in Rutland is still a standalone. I used to grab one there every once in awhile on my way up to Sugarbush because a family member is GF. If Iā€™m rolling solo, Iā€™m just driving through at the Little Caesarā€™s. Pizza Pizza. I used to hit up the buffet all the time in college. Couldnā€™t beat itā€¦

  16. I like pan, and I also like cheese stuffed crust. Thin and crispy is tasty but I could eat 5 whole pies.

  19. There wasnt one near me, so going to one was a big deal to me. mostly when we were on Vacation, and i pretty much had to beg, plead, and act like an asshole to get my way. i remember thinking getting a pitcher of Coke was just the coolest thing ever.

  20. My mom worked at the one on 5th street in Reading so for awhile we had some red cups and their very specific French onion soup bowls. Rando I still think of the karate game me and my sister used to play all the time. Strange to think back in the day going to the Hut was a nice dinner out.

  22. Do you still like Pizza Hut? Me and @Johnny Law and @theprogram4 are big fans. Covid ended the Pizza Hut buffet, at least at the two Allentown locations k was familiar with. No cicis pizza either..

  23. Iā€™ve been told that it isnā€™t everything itā€™s cracked up to be. Once Sugarbush paved the main parking areas, there was an exponential increase in ā€œsolesā€ being replaced on ski boots. Lots of people complaining about it. Us snowboarders donā€™t have that problemā€¦

  24. I traveled down to Whitehall to claim my Buckmans gift card, bought my boots, then journeyed to Blue Mountain (The True Mt.) to see if they finally paved the parking lot so my new boots won't get all muddied up. Unfortunately it is still muddy and looks like spilled Yoo-Hoo after rain.

  25. Wao, wearing them around the house sounds hardcore. I'll be so speedy I'll probably be passing Grilled Cheese and Atomic all day long on my Speed Machines. Idk what Blue does, as I bought them at Buckmans using part of the tent sale proceeds from my sold RTMs and $50 boots from Craigslist I used once. I understand Buckmans does some technique for molding the liner - I might have them do that after a few days skiing in them.

  26. I usually wear them around the house prior to going out the first time. I'll buckle them down as tight as I can stand it, flex them a lot, walk around in them, sit at the computer, watch TV, etc. for a while. Do this daily or so to help the process progress faster. WJW the Speedmachines. You looking to keep up with @GrilledSteezeSandwich? Looks like they have some new fandangled fitment gizmo for molding the liner. Did Blue mention that and/or have the kit to do it? (Nothing like spelling/grammar checking your site before publishing it... "you just need to heat the area trough the infrared lamp", "apply the suction cup to neutralize the pressure in few minutes.") https://www.nordica.com/usa/en/men/boots/medium-100mm/speedmachine/speedmachine-3-120-gw
