Late night on the keyboard and next thing ya know these are at my door....Fritschi Tecton 12 Gonna put them on some Lib Tech Wunderstick 100s...... Question to the touring peeps...Do hybrid bindings get mounted in the marked sweet spot? Next..Should I trust trust Blue to mount these correctly? Could only get them with 110 brakes so I hope they can tweek them in a little.... I really have no legit reason to own these ......9 points

Left this morning when the concrete guys were doing our second pour (on freaking Dec 11th) Decided to go to Buttermilk today, they just opened on Sat. Parked at Tiehack, booted up and walked 100’ to the lift, amazing! Saw lots of uphill peeps starting from the bottom and suddenly felt very lazy that today was a lift serviced day. The snow felt a bit better than the other day. Buttermilk is about 2000’ lower than Aspen so coverage seemed thin. Vegetation popping up everywhere. My second run I took another trail and half way down there were lots of brown spots. I was trying to avoid them and then proceeded to eat shit. Looked up where my pole was and saw a nice brown patch I must have skied over, whoops. Never took a lift with anyone, skied right on each time, very empty. When I got home I ran into the neighborhood snow plow guy (who is chatty). He asked me if I wanted to go to Highlands with him later this week, so I guess I will get to check out that mountain for the first time. It’s always good to be on the good side of the snow plow guy! ** edit food report for Doug**. I made homemade floutas/taquitos and took one for a pocket lunch. Even good cold.8 points

Freefall and pdis for next weekend. Book it. Blue’s gonna flex this week for sure and show off their snowmaking prowess. Not terribly cold but cold enough and clear skies all week. See you all on the quad next weekend. LFG7 points

Negative only was down as my daughter was performing at Epcot. I did ride Guardians which was dope af and velcicoaster which is the best roller coaster I've ever been on. It was cool but now I would really prefer if it got cold.2 points

So, this is pretty wild. Somebody commented on the video describing how the gondola system worked back in the 60s. I thought it was a fixed grip lift that they just ran slow enough to let people on and off since it just looked like a simple haul line and bull wheel design. Apparently the gondolas were detachable, but an attendant had to manually detach the gondola and reattach it to the line as you boarded and got off. Fun stuff. I guess there was a hanger system to hold each gondola as it departed and was taken back up.1 point

Belleayre was really nice Saturdays. Nice spring skiing day. About 5 ways down, including one with whales on it that got a little bumped up, so was down right fun skiing. Snow making sure has come a long way. New chairlift and skier bridge is cool. How's it look for the weekend at blue? Burma, Main Street and Paradise? Three ways down?1 point

Maybe the wrecked Asian we saw last weekend was back? We were in the super 6 line and 3 Asian boarders were in front of us, one was blazing away on a joint right at the gate and could barely stand up. Of course, they didn't have a clue how to get on the lift, taking a couple of steps out from the gate and tried to sit on the chair as it came around. The liftie told the one guy you can't be smoking that here to which the guy replied "Sorry, I thought I was in Jersey. Isn't it legal here?" They had to stop the lift and get the 3 out of the way since there was a full boat at the line for the chair they tried to sit on. Later, Slim saw the guy chowing down in the lower lodge, said he must've had the munchies big time with the way he was eating.1 point

From what I hear, things have changed since being bought. I've heard they don't put in the snowmaking effort like they used to. The last time we were there a couple years back now, one of the guys we were skiing with decided to poach a run that had the guns going. SP tracked him down and yanked his pass w/out even a warning. Of course, he managed to skirt the readers at the bottom lift and rode the upper lift the rest of the day.1 point

Beautiful cold morning here. We got about 10+” of snow in the last 48 hours. Nobody had skied at the park. I broke trail all over the place and it was fun and deep! About 9 degrees and after an hour my toes were frozen and my dog ripped all his booties so his toes were cold too and we called it a day.1 point
