Its gotta go somewhere, so i mean there isnt a real bad spot. Should be fun for those that liked to play on that side. Thats a Blue Mountain surprise for sure. im feeling better about that as well. they have had more snowmaking than i thought they would so far this week. Some good overnight temps next week, but i dont think its gonna get anything else open other than like X-ing. Skiing should never really suck, but skiing those three trails over Christmas is gonna get super old, super quick.4 points

Dunno, they had been blowing on Vista, so I would think that new snow would have covered up any prior rain runoff that fell back on Sunday.3 points

Dec 12, pretty much the same as last week, skied one park from about 10 to 1130. One of the changes I noticed in the lodge was they move the store from across from the pass desk to what was the open lunch area next to the cafeteria so there is significantly less tables space in the lodge. Still blowing snow on Dematteās, and presumably on Challenge They picked up some snow over the weekend.2 points

They were pushing super thin wet bulb margins for portions of guns on time last night. Tonight will be better. Like they literally are turning on the fan guns pre 28 wet bulb then the poles at 28. So whatever they put down is gonna during those hours is gonna be super super wet. All about dat base right now so thats fine.1 point

Truth. If I were off Christmas week and able to ski every day, I would consider looking into whether I could still add on the Camelback option, lol. Not that I expect they will open a ton more, but variety n'at.1 point

Blue is going hard and the forecast was a bit colder and with a longer qindow than expected! Feeling extra optimistic about the possibility for new terrain!1 point

@Johnny Law thanks! We have plans to go on Thursday. Happy to be shown around by someone who knows the terrain @GrilledSteezeSandwich the first time I made them I just used beans, but this time I substituted shredded chicken, which I think is how they are usually made. Along with Mexican spices, tomatoes, red onions etc.1 point

Left this morning when the concrete guys were doing our second pour (on freaking Dec 11th) Decided to go to Buttermilk today, they just opened on Sat. Parked at Tiehack, booted up and walked 100ā to the lift, amazing! Saw lots of uphill peeps starting from the bottom and suddenly felt very lazy that today was a lift serviced day. The snow felt a bit better than the other day. Buttermilk is about 2000ā lower than Aspen so coverage seemed thin. Vegetation popping up everywhere. My second run I took another trail and half way down there were lots of brown spots. I was trying to avoid them and then proceeded to eat shit. Looked up where my pole was and saw a nice brown patch I must have skied over, whoops. Never took a lift with anyone, skied right on each time, very empty. When I got home I ran into the neighborhood snow plow guy (who is chatty). He asked me if I wanted to go to Highlands with him later this week, so I guess I will get to check out that mountain for the first time. Itās always good to be on the good side of the snow plow guy! ** edit food report for Doug**. I made homemade floutas/taquitos and took one for a pocket lunch. Even good cold.1 point

Belleayre was really nice Saturdays. Nice spring skiing day. About 5 ways down, including one with whales on it that got a little bumped up, so was down right fun skiing. Snow making sure has come a long way. New chairlift and skier bridge is cool. How's it look for the weekend at blue? Burma, Main Street and Paradise? Three ways down?1 point

Beautiful cold morning here. We got about 10+ā of snow in the last 48 hours. Nobody had skied at the park. I broke trail all over the place and it was fun and deep! About 9 degrees and after an hour my toes were frozen and my dog ripped all his booties so his toes were cold too and we called it a day.1 point
