  1. Santa gave us an early present with consistent fast, grippy snow throughout the mountain and smaller crowds today. Today was really good. Fast and grippy snow + less people was a recipe for putting the hammer down, especially early on. In the house today we're Jeff, Dan, Mute, justo, boo, salty, Ben, pops, enjo, mixel, nmski, schif, Nancy and many more. Everything skied well today and was less divoty, paradise was surprisingly good and, coverage wise, after the second turn looked like end to end. coming soon was light years better than yesterday. Lazy was decent but the star of the show again was vista-mid-main. Oh and Shout out to whoever decided to put "rise and grind"...the excellent coffee shoppe down in the lower lodge. They serve up a top notch latte. Merry Christmas all!

  2. Indeed! The snow was hero from the get-go. The little bit of rain, humidity and bump in the temp make for some excellent conditions on every trail. Ended up setting a bump line on right side of lower Main. Legs are shot now. Crowds were down due to the holiday and the place would have been pretty empty if it weren't for BMR everywhere.

  4. Absolutely awesome day at Blue The True. Dare I say the best of the season? Hero soft well groomed snow from opening bell and light crowds until noon. Lazy Mile wasnt to packed and loads of fun as was Nile Mile and every other trail. VID_39101205_174305_800.mp4

  9. The crazies were definitely out yesterday. They didn't have a rope or closed trail signs across Raceway. Guess the obvious single pile of snow wasn't enough to indicate to some people it was a closed trail, so they decided the fast-grass looked fun and made multiple runs down it. Didn't take long for SP to rope it off.

  10. Vista/Midway/Lower Main was good...The rest was meh... TCS was slickety slick....Lazy was a big rumble strip...Although to be fair Paradise wasn't bad until you got past the TCS intersection...and somehow caught a somewhat empty run down Burma(with a couple of patrol at corners)....Big crowds with BMR and kooks ....Still better than sittin at home watchin cartoons with a bowl of Fruity Pebbles....

  11. Midway to lower main didnt disappoint. Coming soon did. Might have been ok earlier, but after sucking down a bunch of runs on midway, coming soon was slick with pockets of snow, and it was littered with the race team. They installed some ripples on coming soon which i didnt think were there yesterday. Lazy was wall to wall people, and just pretty comical at best. Snow was actually better than the typical opening day for a trail i thought. not quite as crowded today as i thought it would be, but still crowded. Production on Razors for 24 hrs of really marginal snowmaking was disappointing at best. A+ for effort by Blue, but it shows that temps well below 30 degrees are what we need.
