Made it to the largest bucees in the world, its an unreal 75000 square feet. The beef jerkey counter alone is worth the trip but add in the dope brisket/merch and I can see how it's becoming a religion. It has 150 pumps ..... I'm not sure if it's the best or worse but I have to say i love bucees, the garlic jerky, the mascot. In the wawa sheetz discussion it's all polishing brass on the titanic, Bucees makes them look like turkey hill.11 points

Hey All, I’m back from another morning session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:22am and it was 49 degrees with light rain falling. In the house were Atomic Jeff, JFDan, BenM, Dirtwolf, Indiggio, Dime, Tele Matt and the Bethlehem ford crew. First civilian super summit safari to access the damage on Main Street and one hole and one very long and broad skeet spot..nice conditions on midway and Main Street..still hero snow. Up the quad and coming soon wasn’t that smooth..lower paradise is getting real thin and the top of paradise is very thin but the middle part is almost wall to wall and the snow is still white. It was nice having another empty session, not nice for Blue as they’re losing millions, maybe even billions of dollars every day. Continued with some more paradise and midway to Main Street until about 930 then hungout in the lot and had some beer. While the skiing was pleasant, I got pretty soaked. Tomorrow should be similar and by the weekend Blue will patch together what they can and likely back to opening day terrain. My guess is after New Year’s Day, they’ll likely close for a few days in an attempt to refresh everything during the couple of hours of potential marginal snowmaking conditions. JADIP4 points

Sunday had one parked there too with New York plates 😂 but didn’t get a pic in time. Did they remove signs or something? Still not as epic as the Subaru driving down Shuttle3 points

Sorry Dime, I’d wait for you if not for the others. Also a lady on the chair in front of us skied right off the loading platform at the bottom of the super summit safari..then she decided to join the five of us and was trying to get back in her skis from a sitting position. Dumbass..2 points

Just got home from a morning sesh at Blue The True. I counted 14 civilian heads waiting for opening bell. Snow was as to be expected fast, wet and thin kind of how I like my...... Im not sure Paradise will make the weekend. PS, PASR needs more riders as those guys in that chair wont wait a second for a guy to strap in! 🤣2 points

i sort of figured there would be some type of precip this morning, so i had a late arrival to find Benm, and DW already booted up. Even though Jeff wasnt there we were able to make it to the lift with all of our gear and were facing the right direction. Snow was nice, and there were like 7 other people there. Every run was empty. Lazy has been tagged as thin cover, and its not gonna last much longer. its down at lower lazy around the turn thats the problem area. its bad, but it does go, at least today it did. Paradise is getting a little thin up top. Coming soon and lower paradise are ok. Main street is a little thin where the lift crosses over. Its gonna be an interesting weekend for sure. Cloudy and 50 is probably better than 40 and sunny at this point. surprisingly there is still snow on razors, im using that as a gauge for how much snow we are losing by the day. Today was a real good day.2 points

Up to JF for a short session so the 3 YO granddaughter could try out her Christmas presents of skis, boots, harness and helmet. Spent most of the time on the Powder Puff lift, but took a run down Dematte’s (a little skied off with piles of soft stuff) and Challenge (soft, but pretty consistent). Back to the lodge about 1 pm and it was about 1/4 full.2 points

Lower paradise is still open until the isthmus breaks and the Nile river runs through it.1 point

Moved the BC trip to Spring Break when more terrain will be open there. Turned out they got a decent amount open, but it was looking shakey when I had to make the call. Had fun at Snow, Stowe and Okemo instead.1 point

Lots of fifty six dollar bills for Blue today with all the tubers. It’s easy to tell which people are Tubers as they’re usually Oriental or Urban.1 point

They are allegedly world famous and I can see why, there has to be 80 stalls and a 100 urinals, all immaculate. I didn't even have to go but when in Rome. A bucees at kop would absolutely destroy, lv too though the amount of land they require would make most of the NE impossible.1 point

Never heard of Bucees until I watched The Company Man video. I was fascinated. I hope they put a Bucees near Blue Mountain the True Mountain soon https://youtu.be/HtaXg5GcNxg?si=wcGG3RKW1ZVixbwl1 point

Remember folks there have been worse starts to the season but only a few times in the last three decades.1 point

Why don't they just cut a path to the new lift thru the noob area, and move the noobs somewhere else? I really can't stand going thru the terrain park after every run, dodging all that crap and watching each jumper so they don't crash and slide laterally right into my path. Yeah I could go the flat part back, but that's really flat and lame.1 point

This burst of rain is gonna help Mother Nature deal out a Mortal Kombat style death blow on the ski season. This is a bananas amount of rain and the forecast got worse.0 points
