  3. Quite a change from yesterday but not as cold as i thought it was gonna be..First run down Lazy was $$$.....Went from zero to hero.....Paradise wasn't bad either...Sorta narrow strip of toilet paper to the left of the brown stain at the bottom...but the rest was pretty good.....Midway also good...The Keebler elves were busy making Main pretty spicy overnight....As the morning went on the whole place was pretty rowdy....Decent crowd today too....All lifts spinnin...Was a better day than I thought it was gonna be...Blowin hard on Razors...Come around...and Falls..

  4. To sum up the questions: used to be Captain Jack, now just first officer Jack. Too young to know Dianne, and unfortunately my last name is much less comedically relevant than “Hoff”. looks like I’m definitely in the right place to meet a bunch of degenerate skiers 😂😂 Any of you live in Bethlehem? Went skiing downtown and managed to do a 180 in front of hotel B, about 3 seconds before security told me to get lost 😂

  5. Total 100% opposite yesterday's hero snow. Paradise ridge was ROTD for us, just kept lapping that as Main Street was a disaster of marbles, cookies and just plain crap. Lazy wasn't too bad, both sides were fun until the very bottom which just a shit-ton pile of sugar and Jerries trying to figure out how to deal with the piles. About 1, the front rolled through bringing a disappointing squall, but high winds and drastic temperature drop. Went back out for a couple more runs, but Connector was a sea of noobs not knowing how to do anything and that's when we called it. Oh yeah, saw a car roll in with their roof box wide open with shit hanging out the back. They definitely were not happy campers when they got out of the car to find half their stuff gone.

  6. Everybody that skied today had cookies and some sugar, so why not stick with the theme.

  7. Got a good look at upper main from the lift, it helped that the lift stopped a few times in that area. It looked so bad i made a hard pass on it. Lazy and paradise good. Saw what looked like open rooftop box debris on my way up the hill on my way out. We really need some more trails open.

  11. Oh yeah, Ski Patrol was handing out candy in the valley area today, probably hoping to make some amends from last weekend's debacle. Scored a delightful Peppermint Patty!

  12. It was a good day but snow definitely took a dive after yesterday's hero snow. First run down main there was so much debris and the right side was pretty uneven. Lazy was the best run again but suffered the same fate as dis, with all the people at highly variable speed if you chose the wrong school of fish you were absolutely closed out. Super good to see them pound razors so that can be done with. Forecast looks to be Gucci Gold so should be a dope week coming up. Had to stop at the store on the way home, people were losing their minds on the wind but I think it's kinda fun to see. My front door seal is whistling Dixie which it's never done before.

  14. Woodstone would to be the top choice for convenience with under a 10 minute drive. When we had weddings at Blue in the summer, the recommended places were in Bethlehem or Lehighton, both 20-25 minutes away since Woodstone had their own weddings going on.

  15. Hiked to TCS couple times last year, midweek and quad wasn’t running. Totally worth it.

  24. It is. I don't know why the guy in yellow looks so cranky though. I hope they have complimentary Hot Cocoa guy tomorrow. Maybe this will entice @Ski2Live Live2Skito ski Blue Mountain resorts tomorrow with us for the bargain price of $161.

  26. Hot take: Season Pass holders are the new day ticket people. There are so many pass holders now that it doesn't make a ton of financial sense to just buy day tickets. We are unfortunately less special now.

  28. Or wash it and take the pass out like I did last year. When was the last time your washed your ski fit?

  29. That’s crazy should be like $5 or zero. Sheesh if I owned a ski resort, not only would I replace the pass no charge but I’d give a voucher for a hot cocoa or soft drink as well. My response would be,”oh man that stinks I hate losing stuff, I’ll print you off a new pass and have a cocoa on us we appreciate your business”. But I’m a customer service wizard.

  30. It’s prob only a one square inch area area below my big toe on outside id foot..unfortunately on my larger foot…getting into ski boot major ouch..first few minutes in Pain goes down. Lift rising pain is 3 out of 10..skiing almost zero pain even in 3D snow…then taking off boot ouchie. I’m trying to have a good attitude, I’m not sick, still semi productive at work, sleeping well. This isn’t as bad as when this happened in March, then walking around a grocery store was terrible now no issues doing a couple thousand steps of everyday life but frustrating because I was doing well walking more and keeping my activity up. @toast21602 I’m hoping you feel better soon. We all have enough in our plate it sucks when more gets added that don’t involve nachos.

  33. Dime I thought you parked over by the quad. And Schifdawg and Nancy got Atomic Jeffs parking spot. He was down south running. I really liked the snow today…hopefully it will be awhile until we have 52 degrees at opening….there was barely any garbage under the Original six pack…

  35. In the empty solitude of the back country of Tannersville PA. What a nice change from crowded ass trails last weekend to having the best slope in PA completely to myself for one run

  37. Got to CB Tuesday afternoon. Had to find a hole in the storm cycle to travel. In winter when Kebler Pass closes, it’s just as far from Marble as it is from Boulder to get here. There is a route that cuts 30 min off the time, but you skirt the road of Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Did it once in winter. It’s icy, foggy, twisty and desolate. I kept thinking if I slid off the road nobody would find me until spring! So now I drive here via Montrose and stay on the main roads. All of Colorado seems below snowpack levels. When I arrived my house wasn’t blocked by a mound of snow. But maybe winter has finally arrived. Yesterday woke up to a fresh 4”. It was negative temps and the wind was whipping. So I was lazy and took the 10:15 bus. I was told Paradise was socked in and absolutely freezing. So I stayed on the front side. It was bitterly cold. My face hurt after an hour so I left. Today the webcam said 7” when I woke up. By the time I left it was up to between 8-9”. Surprisingly quiet. Again, due to very low viz, I stayed on the front side. Decided to try and work on my very mediocre powder skilz. Did 6 powder laps and a few groomed. Snow was deep!! Only a few pics as it was pretty cold again. Supposed to snow all weekend. It’s a holiday so will probably be busy

  40. Same here. Been dealing with an ankle and metatarsal issue and it's been swollen. Running feels okay but hurts like hell in a ski boot. Hopefully up tomorrow after a few ibuprofen meals today. Might have to hit up that foot pain billboard you have outside there....

  42. @DiMe Camelback's race team practiced on the side of the beginner slope today and not on the grate runs like the Asp or Hump. Unlike BMR who get the best run of the mountain almost every weekend.
