  1. Hey All, I’m back from day two at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and only Johnny law was in the house. The temperature was in the upper 20s under mostly cloudy sky’s. In the house were JFDan, Atomic Jeff, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, PaRidge, Falco, Charles, Shopey1080, BenM, BethlehemFord Crew, Mute, Boo, TP4, Becky Boo and many others. First run on Paradise was way better than expected, pretty smooth and edgeable and the run to ourselves. Next run a few people but very pleasent snow compared to yesterday. Easy out and especially vista had great packed powder. Midway and lower main was rough small cookies and boilerplate but we all agreed that we’ve skied worse. Back to Paradise most of the rest of the session. The snow stayed good and some runs were contested some were semi clear. The amount of people in the house seemed less than yesterday. Ended the morning with a Burma run. Nice snow on Burma and a ton of people on there. Fun parking lot had some chips and beers and stopped at Panera on the way back. Tomorrow might be warm enough for some hero snow. JADIP

  3. Make sure the shades are down and the door is locked…as tempting as it might be to do that in a cemetery I don’t wanna see your name in the paper.

  6. Back from another day at Blue The True! Ran into Enjo, Ben and Jonny Law on my way in. Snow was really starting to soften up late morning and the cookies on Midway started getting squashed and it got quite better. Lift lines were surprisingly non existent for a sold out day but the trails were crowded. Chute and Lazy Mile should help spread people out tomorrow. Ended up with only 11 laps today with a bunch of homies from the mall. All in all JADIP.

  7. Today was a lot of fun. Really great first run on Paradise. Best run of the short year by far. Really good conditions up on vista as well. Midway and lower main were OTOH were the complete opposite. Excellent "summit s'mores latte" at first chair coffee. Major major props to Blue for upping their coffee game

  8. Snowmaking continues on Razors Come Around and the Falls and I heard that they didn’t blow snow on coming soon cause the quad is broken down.

  9. Best 2nd day maybe ever, to make some semi legit turns in formation on good snow wasn't even in my list of possibilities. There's nothing like the moment, that 1000th of a second where the ski really starts to accelerate and your brain screams go slower or we'll die and you know to ignore it and push faster. With lazy I think this is officially their best non mother nature assisted start.

  11. This is very early in the season. Aside from the Covid year, blue doesn’t usually get busy until after Xmas unless there’s snow in the lowlands

  19. Thankful for the weather stretch that we have had, but here comes the typical NEPA forecast. When the moist moves in, it warms up, and then as the moist moves out, we get the re-freeze.
