All the trucks are at home, best drive in a decade at least. Much better day than I maybe thought, crowds were very low for a Sunday and the snow was good even when it got ratty. I don't fuck with lazy so only thing I thought that was not good was nmdw. The features aren't as bad as in the past and I think we'll figure out a good path but too many cookies. Super props to enjo for cooking, no matter the conditions that makes for a most excellent day and those shrimp ! Special shout out to little boo, one for hooking me up with cookies and two for an incident with a boarder. I hope she wrangled something good out of you Mute for that one.7 points

Shoveled at half time, 4-5 so far in the ding and still coming down hard. Blue I think is too busy for real rider of the storm, glad I didn't try for that.5 points

Hey all Iām back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot around 720am and it was cloudy and in the low 30s. In the house was everybody but salty schif, Nancy, toast and Matt edge. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was nice a little rolly Polly in the middle I even heard creamy mentioned. Challenge was good enough for a repeat then sidewinder which was real nice. Main Street was nice especially on the top and switchback was decent, a few slick spots. Coming soon was ok, I heard lazy Mile was bad and cookied up but didnāt ski it. Repeats were made on challenge, Main Street, and sidewinder, sidewinder got a little choppy but not bad. Crowds were slightly less than peak, couple minute waits were the norm. Fun parking lot with beers, snacks, sausage, steak and pork loin. Easy drive back to the A with barely any cars on the road. Looks like we might get a couple inches of snow. JADIP4 points

Dom and i took a spin down NMDW as well, and i concur with what you said. the jumps arent fucking up the run nearly as bad as in the past. i was however a little shy around the last turn thinking there would be something dumb there that i wouldnt be able to see in time. When we started down NM, it wasnt to bad, but then just got progressively worse as the run went on. Get this - @RidgeRacer gave NMDW lower marks than i did.3 points

Snowing like crazy here. So far about 3ā. Iām hoping the cold will keep some people away tomorrow.3 points

Solid morning riding at Blue. Some crumbs and minor slick spots here an there but nothing to stop the fun. For the first hour you could turn it up to 11 and not worry. Was on the quad when I saw them drop the rope for NMDW and was tempted but some inner voice said don't..At 10 the lines were almost to the scanners so it was time to bounce... I'm dosin' on the hopeium with this storm... Really want to get some non resort riding in..3 points

Closing in on 2ā in the LV and yes looks like some heavy bands coming through so could end up 6ā+2 points

i was just seeing some stuff on FB (so it must be true) an hour or so ago about some heavy bands coming through, and it is snowing like a MF at my place now. i think we will do better than 5, but less than 10. i still do think LH valley and pocs will do the best out of this though. i should actually go shovel some since i dont wanna do it tomorrow morning. i could show some pics of my lawn furniture covered in snow if you like.2 points

Hey All, Iām back from another fun session at blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the mid 20s under overcast skyās. In the house was everybody but PSUFlyGuy, Schif, Nancy and NMSki. Second civilian OG six pack to challenge which was very nice, sidewinder was also real good as was switchback and especially upper Main Street. Coming soon was a little scrappy but not terrible, the only real bad conditions were on lazy. There were crowds but not as bad as last weekend, I think because thereās some rain in the forecast today and also Ikon passes are blacked out. I did an easy out to vista to Burma run for the culture and it was a clusterfuck but decent snow and ended on Main Street. Fun parking lot with some beers and snacks. Now at work counting money, on the drive back I had to pee so bad I almost pulled into a Jewish cemetery in Whitehall to relieve myself but held it in. JADIP2 points

Today was awesome, snow was generally pretty good and while it was busy the lines were not terrible until 10. It will be nice once nmdw cookies break down and there is another way down but pretty much everything was worth it. I love that you can feel the energy and excitement with tomorrow's potential storm, in like electricity in the air.2 points

I learned full Ikon was not blocked, only base. Great day skiing with the kids. The crowd was better than expected after last weekend. Right side line of MS lift was wide open and we lapped that after 10 since our friends donāt get VIP. Everyone just kept left for no reason.2 points

That way though is a total no brainer, it's totally flat. If it's the shit I just go straight at the bridge and it's like 10 min longer but zero effort required.1 point

Today was good..Although I thought yesterday the snow was a bit faster and held up a little better...First run down NMDW was a mistake...Put a little too much faith into Blues grooming...No Lazy but all the other players were fine... Enjo gets my vote for league MVP...1 point

Just wrapped up round one. Thankful i plowed now because no way the mower was handling more than that. Ignore my earlier comment. Pretty sure we're already well past five in.1 point

I would have redeemed one of my buddy passes for myself. Word is they get season pass gate access, so should have worked for first tracks too1 point

My driveway is 800+ - . I share it with three neighbors. One has a plow but itās painful listening to him plow his lower section , he keeps an old pickup specially for plowing. Itās barely holding together. The driveway is mostly flat but about 100ā section has been been worn down over the years, ruts because the neighbors canāt figure out if you donāt drive in the same spot they wouldnāt exist. Iāve had to wait for the first snow to get compacted in order to plow without the feet hanging up, set up about an inch and a half. The brackets got bent up through time , Iāll find out how this solution works out. I have a Kawasaki Prairie 360 4x4 , chains on the back.1 point

That dry slot hurt. I can't see any way 10 is in play. Kinda think 5 if we're lucky. Doing first session at halftime. Looks like maybe only an inch and a half using my banister as a gauge. Dumping tho right now for sure.1 point

Guest services couldn't fix the pass but at least they offered me a day pass to ski with the masses at 8:30. Screw that, I left and was on the snow at Jack Frost at 8:20 and I now I have 20 minutes less on my drive home. I think Camelwhack should be able to fix their "Peak to Peak" pass when it doesn't work instead of wasting my precious one hour of First tracks that I got up at 5:50 am to do to avoid standing in their long lines. What a Circus!!! šŖ š¤”1 point

I'm thinking U shape under the blade, so the round sits on the ground and bottom of the blade sits in the U. Wire in one hole, up and over the blade, to the other hole, on each end. Allows the blade to glide on the gravel instead of digging it up1 point

I get there all excited for First tracks at 730am. Suddenly season pass (A Blue pass with Camelback add on) no longer works. After 3 trips to guest services I left and went to Jack Frost. What a freakin joke!!!0 points

Unpopular opinion, I donāt see how we are gonna get 6-10ā considering the radar and temperatures..looks like we are about to get dry slotted a little. Iām thinking we end up with 4-5ā that will be decent. More Iām not expecting. Iāve followed snowstorms for a long time and this just looks sort of unimpressive but maybe Iām wrong and will crank up.0 points

nws actually dropped where i'm at a little bit between 10 am and 4pm reports. oddly though, the low-chance of high end went up (10% chance of around 14"). map still saying near 8". unfortunately for you all, i just put tire chains and the blade on the lawnmower. i also put driveway markers in ... so plan on 2".0 points
