Pretty good day at Silver mountain. They have some pretty steep runs although some of the stuff off lift 4, as well as the North Face, was closed for avalanche risk. The glades that were open were pretty fun and good spacing in the trees. It was a little confusing to get around and I had to avoid the cat tracks since the snow was pretty slow. It was probably 75 degrees at one point, I was drinking beers in a t shirt. Got back to the base area around 3 and did some fishing. The river is running pretty high from the snow melting. I went fishing after dinner too and missed a few fish on dry flies, but there wasn't much action.8 points

I was accidentally added to the Blue Mountain leadership group chat and saw that they are opening up at least one of the days of April 5/6 next weekend.4 points

Pretty good day at Silver mountain. Ride 9 30 to 1 30, most of the same trails as yesterday but explored some of the glades a bit today. South facing side was nice and pretty sunny, stuff off chairs 3 and 4 was super foggy. Really cool mountain and some pretty steep runs. Also a trail called half pipe thats a natural half pipe as the name suggests. I'd like to come back when more stuff is open but I still had a great time3 points

I must say that I love the “we’re gonna go as long as we can” approach. Reminds me of old school killington.3 points

My daughter elected to hit Lost Trail this weekend instead of coming here.1 point

Nice I think I’m still full from Sundays party. Maybe try and get a baked potato since you’re in the state that’s famous for spuds. They’d prob shake their heads at the cheap Korean potatoes they sell at dollar general.1 point

Condo is pretty awesome. Think my plan is to hit Silver today and tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Montana Friday...fishing Saturday so may or may not ride depending on what time the trip is done. Lookout pass either tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Washington Monday and probably a short session at 49 degrees north Tuesday before flying back1 point

Blue is planning on being open April 5th and 6th as well. Probably be pretty limited terrain but way to go blue.1 point
