  1. A friend and I had been talking last year about doing Mt Washington / Tucks. Schedules and weather aligned for a day trip. We were wheels up 7:50am, touched down around 9:15am in Berlin, NH. Grabbed the "rental" (aka the town's old cop caar) and we drove the 35 minutes to the trailhead. We were on our way up by 10:30am. Similar to the last time I did Tucks with @GSSucks and @Justo8484, the Sherbie cross over was ~1.5 miles in. In reality, probably could have started skinning before that as there was snow, but we donned our boots at the cross over, ditched our shoes in the woods, and were on our way to the Hojo's. Got there around 12pm, quick snack, and then we were on our way up to the ravine floor. I was surprise to see how little snow there was compared to my previous visit, so we decided to boot up Left Gully with the option to either ski down, head back up, and then over to Hillman's for the descent. After an easy boot up, we reached the top of the ravine ~1:25pm with no wind under mostly cloudy skies (as forecasted). We decided in the interest of time, weather, and energy, we'd head over to Hillman's as there was some rain and lower clouds in the area. Quick rock scramble over and we were on our way down. Some sporty Sherbie sections always makes for a fun end to the day. Back at the crossover, on went the shoes, and in came some rain which lasted for about 20 minutes or so. It was semi-refreshing as temps were well into the 60s. We got back to the car at 4pm after an elapsed 5h30m. Unfortunately, no celebratory beer as there was still work left to be done. We enjoyed the feeling of putting on flip flops, packed up, and got to the airport around 5pm. Packed up the plane, fueled it up, chatted with an old timer for a little, and we were in the air at 5:40pm with some weather between us and our destination. We climbed to 18,000 and we were in and out of the clouds and icing conditions for most of the flight. I flew the return leg, and I managed to have a decent landing at 7:30pm despite never landing that type of plane before to finish off an awesome day.
