Currently eating way too much at the Capital one lounge in Denver Airport. Flight boards for Spokane in about 2 hours. Not sure what my schedule is for mountains. Lookout pass, lost trail, Silver, and 49 degrees north for sure. Maybe Montana Snowbowl, Whitefish, or Blacktail. Maybe guided fishing one morning or afternoon if I feel like it.11 points

Pretty good day at Silver mountain. They have some pretty steep runs although some of the stuff off lift 4, as well as the North Face, was closed for avalanche risk. The glades that were open were pretty fun and good spacing in the trees. It was a little confusing to get around and I had to avoid the cat tracks since the snow was pretty slow. It was probably 75 degrees at one point, I was drinking beers in a t shirt. Got back to the base area around 3 and did some fishing. The river is running pretty high from the snow melting. I went fishing after dinner too and missed a few fish on dry flies, but there wasn't much action.11 points

Condo is pretty awesome. Think my plan is to hit Silver today and tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Montana Friday...fishing Saturday so may or may not ride depending on what time the trip is done. Lookout pass either tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Washington Monday and probably a short session at 49 degrees north Tuesday before flying back10 points

Spent a bluebird day yesterday, skiing with the kids in the morning and grandkids in the afternoon. Not quite frozen cord in the morning up top, mashed potatoes lower down in the afternoon. No bowls, but a lot of ponderosa pines. Well maintained, good logistics, kind of an upscale type of place, a Sierra’s Park City with a hotel lower mid mountain. Shuttle from the parking lots worked well, light lift lines and slopes not crowded up top. Cross country trip went well, except they closed 80 in Wyoming for us when we hit Green River due to extreme blow over risk for campers. So we detoured down 191 past Flaming gorge to Rt 40 and over to SLC. Big storm coming in to Truckee tonight so we are making discretion the better part of valor and heading out this afternoon. Don’t want to have to put the chains on this beast.9 points

Pretty good day at Silver mountain. Ride 9 30 to 1 30, most of the same trails as yesterday but explored some of the glades a bit today. South facing side was nice and pretty sunny, stuff off chairs 3 and 4 was super foggy. Really cool mountain and some pretty steep runs. Also a trail called half pipe thats a natural half pipe as the name suggests. I'd like to come back when more stuff is open but I still had a great time9 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. Today might even be closing day. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:23am and it was cloudy with the temperature in the mid 40s. In the house was a smallish crew. Familiar faces like Atomic Jeff, JFDan, Dirtwolf, PARidge, BenM, Enjorales, TP4, Johnny Law, Bethlehem Ford crew and Indiggio. I started on the super summit safari six pack and first skied lazy mile which was pretty nice and smooth..The falls was glacial ice. Paradise wasn’t as smooth as Lazy but not that bad just a lot of solid. Coming soon was nice and skied that twice it was spring conditions. Challenge was pretty solid and a huge bare area on the right side of the second headwall. Razors had good and bad areas. I took one run down Burma road and it’s still holding on just barely..the last stretch had about an inch and a half of base and as Toast says it’s all about the base. I repeated lazy mile and ended with a Paraweaver run. Fun parking lot I had a couple beers and enjorales made breakfast sandos, Pork loin, short rib, flatbreads, creme brûlée and sausages. Now I’m at work trying to do a few things before I do THC experiments on myself. JADIP8 points

Blue is planning on being open April 5th and 6th as well. Probably be pretty limited terrain but way to go blue.8 points

Yesterday was so so so so much fun, hyper big shout out to enjo as always dude you are the absolute goat. I've skied enough hills to know at the end of the day it's the people that make a place and it was an honor and a pleasure.8 points

Rode at lookout pass from 9 to 1...conditions ranged from soft groomers, firm corduroy, and crusty snow in the glades. There looks to be some good access to backcountry areas there. They have a ton of snow, seems to snow there a lot more than Silver which is like 20 minutes away. Fished a little on the way back and now enroute to central Washington. Hanging out at Post Falls Brewing, great beer. Hitting white pass in Washington tomorrow. Possibly 49 degrees north Tuesday although my flight boards at 1 25, so may skip riding and fish/hit a brewery7 points

Bittersweet leaving today. I feel like this may be it for the season. Sad for that...but happy that it really was another great season. Thanks for spoiling us again with the food @enjoralas. As for the skiing. Good coverage all things considered. Yesterday took it's toll in spots. Like @GrilledSteezeSandwich said it was probably the quietest that I can recall seeing blue on a weekend. I can't imagine they're making much money so a shout out to Blue for opening up for the pass holders this weekend (and maybe next). Definitely grateful for that7 points

Today was a helluva day! Thanks everyone for eating. And of course thanks to everyone who brought their own tasty delights. Dan's breakfast entree was the perfect kickoff, and per usual I was fashionably late but having the van with the microwave to eat it hot right off the jump was was clutch. Those stuffed pretzels from Frankenstein were probably the best thing I ate all day. Mike's pepperoni bread delicious too. Many others I didn't get to try . . . See everyone for at least one more weekend!7 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 720am and it was in the mid 40s with a little lingering valley fog below partly sunny sky’s. In the house was everybody by NMSki, VTMark, Phillycore, PSUFrank, Toast, Root, Zonked, Nancy, Barb and Sibhusky. Started out on the quad and skied Challenge first which was pretty bad..super uneven solid ish snow and divots everywhere. Paradise was better and getting thin..down to the base snow so pretty fast. Lazy mile was pleasent as was upper Main Street..lower a little choppy but not as choppy as yesterday AM. Crowds seemed worse than yesterday AM. After about an hour and fifteen minutes we went into the lot for a beer and chips then went back out around 10am and I skied Razors which was getting nice and corny..I didn’t ski the bumps as I didn’t want to re-aggravate my knee but apparently they were good. They looked tight to me. I also skied Paraweaver and Dreamweaver was thick but well covered..I skied a vista to Burma and left side of vista like a four foot base and right side below the pond skim a four inch base. Burma was holding on, I like skiing it when empty. I finished off with another razors and back to the lot around 11am…no more beer and peaced out shortly thereafter with a stop at chic fil A on the way back. Ski most of y’all tomorrow. JADIP6 points

Good times this weekend! Thanks all for the delicious food, tasty beverages, and most of all, thank you @mute1080, @Johnny Law, and I know a few others for helping to get our gear off the hill so I could help Rose to the lot.6 points

Spent most of the day fishing the Couer D'Alene river...caught a bunch of west slope cutthroat trout, which was cool, Fish up to 17 inches. The guide is going to send me pics in the next couple days but I took a few with my phone. Wandered around the town of Wallace tonight, cool mining town with some breweries and restaurants. Hit Northern Idaho Brewing, Wallace Brewing, and then blackboard Cafe for dinner. Steelhead trout for dinner and took a peanut butter banana milkshake to go.5 points

Turtle man was in the house later on and Ripped razors lol. Even a bump attempt lol Skied razors mostly and ventured over to watch a run or two. Amazing at how long the skimming line was. Rode the six once more to ski sleepy hollow, just had to hop one patch of ground. Bump crew gave up around 2:15 ish Awesome job from Blue this year! IMG_9148.mov5 points

Wrapped up at lost trail around 2 30. Had a bratwurst and Bitterroot Brewing IPA and then fished for a bit on the way back to Missoula...lost a big trout and a few takes on dry flies but nothing officially caught. Saw a muskrat swimming around and some cool birds while fishing at a wildlife refuge. Drove back to Missoula and hit Imagine Nation Brewing for a flight and also got tacos from the food truck. Now I'm at Big Sky Brewing for another flight before I head back to the condo5 points

Lost trail was awesome. The chair 4 stuff reminds me a bit of the stuff off Millie at Brighton. Chutes, cliffs, trees, bowls, and some nice groomers. Started off by hitting some stuff off the chair near the lodge...then over to chair 4. Did a trail and then a chute called wall of fame and also a few tree runs. It was a little sketchy and icy at the top but the rest was nice. Also hit some groomers which were firm to start but softened up by mid morning. Went out sacajawea trees, which turned out to be a bad idea as I ended up hiking back pretty far once it flattened out. Trees got pretty tight but at the top they were pretty manageable.5 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun morning at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 830am and it was in the low 40s at the base and upper 40s up high, mad inversion Yo..what what if Que Que for the Spanish speaking snow sports enthusiasts. In the house were Bethlehem ford crew minus Bethlehem ford guy, Johnny Law, NMSki and Atomic Jeff. Third civilian quad and it stopped and sat idle for about 50 minutes near the bottom of paradise. We thought we were gonna have to be roped off. Finally at the top at 857am and wow were my legs stiff from sitting so long. Paradise was nice smooth spring snow..and then to the super summit safari six pack. Sheesh there was a mini liftline and Main Street and lazy mile were busy with people. I skied Widowmaker which was ok to chute which was thick not very good spring snow and lower Main Street not that good and narrow. Lazy mile was decent spring snow, the falls is getting lots of carnage as lower sidewinder closed is sending the herbs onto the falls. I skied a top to bottom Main Street and the top had a lot of hero snow then back into the fuckery of lower Main Street. Another lazy mile and then the OG six opened so I hoped on that and got a very smooth hero snow run on challenge. I would have stayed for a few more but had to peace out as I was already about a half hour behind schedule. I’m glad 2 out of three of the lifts worked today, just a shame lift roulette failed today. JADIP Ski most of you this weekend.5 points

Yesterday at the mountain I had a chicken sandwich...cooked chicken back at the condo last night and hit Radio Brewing for a late lunch today. Terrible pic but I had a peanut butter burger with Mexican pasta salad. Did a little fishing after that but nothing happening. Probably try a bit further up river next time i fish5 points

Firm conditions first thing made for some fast laps...TCS was super fun and you could carry all the speed you want rollin on to LP..Razors was a little crunchy on the headwall but you could let it go after that...Some glacial ice on Midway...Warmed up nicely and the snow held up well..Great coverage and conditions for the end of March..4 points

Fun morning. The valley was deceiving temp wise early on as, on the lift ride up about half way up, it felt like the beach. Fun spring ski day regardless and the amount of snow still on the mountain, on March 29th (while others are now closed for the season), is downright impressive. Blue does a really nice job of pushing snow around. Will be interesting to see what tomorrow looks like after 80 degrees today.4 points

More lost trail pics. Awesome place, I'd love to come back. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of some of the trees runs or another chute/bowl that I did. I tried using my ghetto go pro but apparently I just took a picture of the ground 😐 I don't have the remote with me so I was trying to turn it to video mode while it was on my helmet4 points

I was accidentally added to the Blue Mountain leadership group chat and saw that they are opening up at least one of the days of April 5/6 next weekend.4 points

Ran into @enjoralas in the lodge who informed me that I missed creme brulee day, dammit! As Philly team fans say, "There's always next year..." Had to be carried out both Saturday and Sunday, as the snow softened and the bumps turned HERO. Can barely walk this morning as the legs are just complete @toast21602 Will be interested to see what's in store for the coming weekend, what they can cobble together. Definitely Razor's and Nightweaver have plenty of snow, but the runouts will probably need some Old MacDonald treatment. After the impressive magic they pulled on upper Paradise to get it covered, I'm pretty sure they won't have any problems opening. Where they got the snow for Paradise is a complete mystery.3 points

Hey All, I’m back from another fun day at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot before 720am and Atomic Jeff and Johnny law were already in the house. They were joined by JFDan, Mute, MBike Mike, Nastar Glenn, Mixilplix, Charles, Airhead, Spyder, Falco, Shopey1080, Schifdawg, Nancy, PARidge, LiftieBob, Indiggio, BenM, Jimmy, Craig, Salty, Harold, Kumar, Randy, Enjorales, Mike from Beth ford crew, Mark, TheDude, Mamaskeeze, PSUFrankenstein and many others. The temperature was in the upper 20s to begin rising through the 30s and 40s under mostly sunny sky’s. We first had some breakfast food compliments of JFDan and PSUFrank then I skied a short session including two runs on Main Street which was decent, a little bit of bite but consistent. Paradise was also ok. They blew snow on all the runouts which just made them slow and sticky. Lazy mile was decent early on and challenge had mini cookies but I heard it softened up. Paraweaver was enjoyable as well. I went back off the snow to take a piss and grab another beer and ended up hanging in the lot for awhile then went back out and hit up the chute which had a few soft turns in the sun. Back to Paraweaver again and to the lot and by now Enjorales was cooking up a storm. Burnt ends, bacon wrapped peppers, steak on salt blocks and shrimp were my favorite along with pina colada slushies. Custard filled donut as well and JFDans egg casserole all elite. The hours in the lot flew by and before I could blink it was already like 330..I peaced out as a moderate to severe hangover started to creep on. All in all was a pretty perfect party day and we still have more skiing next weekend and maybe in April… JADIP3 points

Fun PASR party! Here are some pics I snapped of people Didn’t have a red carpet with a tiny microphone but i thought @Johnny Law, @mute1080 , @Mixilplix and @Dirtwolf‘s Canadian tuxedo were the best outfits of the day Here’s are some lifestyle shots some scenes from the food All of the food was delicious — as always. But these pretzel roll breakfast sandwiches were phenomenal3 points

It was 75 degrees when I left Blue and peaked at 80 degrees on route 22 but that’s always a couple degrees more. 81 currently in the A and 72 at Mount Pocono…gotta be 77-78 on the hill I wish a PASR who lived close could put in a dern werther stertion I’d even throw down a $35 bill Its definitely not high of 36 low of 26 like it says on Blues website. That was close a few times..kind of like how a broken clock is right twice a day2 points
