Yah man, skiing definitely isn't my problem... it's the landing thing I haven't been too good with lately. I just haven't felt comfortable since my return... I would've liked to see myself landing 1-footed the other night . We'll all have a good time tomorrow night, I have to get my gazzums back to the size they were before I broke myself.

I'm in, whatever time... let's do it!

I have to say, the belly flop into aspen was one of the funniest things I have ever seen... That was good fun though. "We gotta go"

Ahh it was a good night... Conditions were good, weather was great, crowds were almost non existent! Yeah I met Skimom, and she saw me get my big red O on my ticket by the ranger. Here is that story, actually a decent encounter with a ranger doing his job. I was shooting down the left side of cliffhanger, when some dood zig zaggin the trail shoots eraticly into my line and I tried to avoid him and bail, but in the process I clipped the tails of his skis, sending him boucing of some piles (pretty funny looking once I knew he was ok). All this in full view of 2 rangers. So a ranger stops next to me and asks if we're ok, and asks me if I hit him, and I told him I probably clipped his tails, so he asked me to talk to him at the bottom of the headwall. So, when I got down there he introduced himself and told me he was a ranger blah blah blah and I said I know, so he went thru the whole thing that I was uphill and I should've been able to stop and whatnot.. Now, I understand all that, but it just sucks, sometimes you just can't. So, I got a warning, but the ranger was actually real cool, never mean or condescending or anything.

Well, I just got back from seeing my doctor and she said I could ski! I will be at CB tonite, probably around 6:00... Meet me there! This is my first day back after 6 weeks of being injured, I can't wait!

Until a few weeks ago, I was working 2-10:30, I use to get up early, drive up to be there by 8 (1:45 drive), and ski till 12 so I could get back to work by 2... It was great because of what you said... you can ski soooo much more in the AM weekdays than any other time, I'm gonna miss that!

Ok, so I'm in need of some new poles and was wondering what everyone thought of composite and metal poles. I have used composite since I started skiing and really like that I can't bend and break them, but is there an advantage to metal poles? Any suggestions on poles?

Ok folks as you know I've been injured for a while and haven't been able to get out there, how have the conditions been? Let me know what I've been missing, because I should be back on the slopes soon! Tell me some stories about this season and whatnot, I'm dying here...

All I know is I want some decent conditions when I make my return to the slopes (hopefully Feb 21). Come on winter, hang around!

Ahh... spleen isn't that necessary, skiing is. I'm just waiting to get a little more strength back in this arm before I head out. I expect to have a bunch of people around when I get back on the slopes, so y'all better be ready.

Lol sorry, I've been a bit busy with work and stuff, but I'll be on a bit more now. Anyway, about the arm, I have a doc appt in 2 weeks and she'll tell me what is up... I should be out of the sling by then and starting physical therapy afterwards, but I figure skiing is the best therapy, so I hope to be skiing 2 weeks from tonight

Yeah dude, a little unnecessary, but I'll leave this one up here while getting rid of the shot at the daves. Take all the shots at us you want, if I stopped that we'd be no better than the Daves. In his defense however, Atomic is a good kid, and works hard at what he does, he's not a typical "rich kid".

Alright, that's f'd up if they do it during the day, but you have to expect it overnight. They can't expect you to ski with it in your jacket and hurt yourself with it, and they want you to lock them up because there is no way for them to police it... sux

What do you mean? you leave your lock there overnight? or is during ski times?
