Heres whats open. Mainline, Whistler, Bunny, Highball, Switch, Cannonball, White Lightning. There is one jump in the park, about a 20ft step down, and 2 picnic tables (flat down), up rail, 4 c boxes, rainbow box, Urban down rail, and a flat down.

11 degrees and no snow making
Sno Mountain Skier replied to bigdaddyk's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
I highly doubt that. -
. Do you really believe that?

Rails, and northface tommorow.

I was talking with Richie Schwartz in the lodge today, and he said Mainline, Whistler, Bunny, Boomer, Lightning, Cannonball, Switch, and spike for this weekend. And then if the 14 day holds true for the next week, next weekend, SNO will be running at 100% for the first time in years.

Fuck that, luckily i have baseball right after school till four. And its solid ice, so it will be hard to build.

Wisp, MD has a snowflex setup for a summer rail jam series.
-
Nope, they were finally able to groom.

Only Whistler was open, which was getting snow blown on the whole thing. So snow in the face/ icy conditions. And you had to hike up from the Iron Horse to get to the base area. Word. But, I might come down for this, but i dont know if i feel like spending $40. -
I might be up for 5 or 6 quick runs tommorow depending on if i have baseball at 6 or earlier.
-
I probally shouldnt have sold my helmet, o well.

How about today, GM Rich Schwartz was at the Iron Horse, and he was working the pass checker thing. Hopefully he also feels they are shit.
-
Yesterday my pass wasnt working too well. It was coming up not readable or something like that. But, today it worked everytime they checked me.
-
I skied into the lift area, and had my pant up so he could get to my pass, and the kid goes, put that down fuck the scanners.
-
Whatever they use they need some snow at the top of mainline.
-
Although I only took three runs, it wasnt bad. I have a few problems with SNO, the food setup is rediculous and dont tell me im there to ski. Also, that new scanner thing is pretty stupid, and imagine if it ever gets crowded, that will be a shit storm.

From the looks of it from the road, With the rest of the day, and tommorow nigth they should be able for friday, satiurday, and sunday. Then close monday because of Sundays rain and warm temps.

It looks like they did a pretty good job last night, but i havent been up there yet. I dont feel like leaving my room yet today, but tonight ill go up and check. From my window, Spike, and Whistler are the only two slopes with cover, but i cant see the Northface, or Mainline and over. But with the given forecast, Probally the 24th I would say, would give them the best chances. EDIT***** It looks as if Switch has snow on it, and it really looks like they are still blowing snow. And i could kinda see Mainline and it has snow on it, But with a warm up still to come and rains on Sunday, I still think the 24th would still be the best chance.

Do i really need to answer that. I could go two ways with it. 1. Because its the internet, and i could do whatever the hell i want. 2. Because i like the conversation on here, and i still like skiing as awhole, i jsut dont like being 16 with the back of a 55 year old. Doesnt make a lot of sense to go through injury, when i will have nothing to gain from it. So like i have said before im taking a break from skiing. It might be 3 months, it might be years. Ill start skiing again when i want to.

Were am i gonna go skiing? After not skiing for almost a month, and actually doing stuff in the winter, I like doing this better than going skiing.
