I have been there and while they are slow, I ski at Montage so im quite used to being on slow lifts.

Even though I had a blast at Stowe, im trying to convince my parents into taking a sunday-wensday trip up to Smuggs. I went to smuggs 4 seasons ago, and it was right after a week of 50 and 60 degree temps. I wanna go back when the black hole, freefall, and liftline are all open. And then Smuggs had a great park last year, and they have the T Bar which would make park runs quick and easy.

Screw the system, what would happen if there was another proabition (sp)?
-
Correct. Easiest way to do it. I have to use the step thing at work because, Most of my friends worked at the stadium with me but all quit. For the past couple of checks i have been picking up a check for my step brother or step sister every 2 weeks.

Use a different name then.

Just have a parent go up with you. And when they ask how old you are, say your 17. If they ask for ID, tell them you dont have a license or a photo id, because your not 18 yet. That should work.

Luckily im not going to have to buy a pass this year. For the first time since i was 11, im finally gonna get a bunch of christmas presents.

NY. And if Montage turns to SNO the owners said that we( as in group that was there) could do a park ranger type of thing. So that would be sweet to ski around the park, and have a little bit of power.

Im not really sure if Mr. Speicher is in the counter suit. At the park meeting all of the Sno owners were talking to the kid, and they busted balls with him. I know that doesnt mean they wont sue his dad, but since i the speichers, i hope they dont get sued. But at the meeting it was funny, at the end the SNO guys said for everyone to go home and tell our parents to support SNO, and then they singled out the kid and said Especially you.

Im guessing thats what it is, because some nights we do more walking around the lodge/ base area, then we do skiing. And we always walk on pavement. I know my toes and heels wear down after every season.

I dont think i will be back at the stadium next year. I really loved working up there this year. Upstairs everynight never working hard, unless it was tuesday or fourth of july. I sat on a hot dog warmer, and made a really good friend and got paid $6 an hour to do it. But now that its the yankees, it will be crowded, and im not really down with working every night being busy. This winter i will be working either Park ranger if its SNO, or rentals if its Montage, and after the season im definetly gonna get a job at the huge new mall.

Well in other news the Lackawanna county commissioners as a whole have to be the dumbest guys ever. They just signed a deal with the Yankess, for the Triple A team. And the deal says the yanks are there for two years, a new management team will manage and spruce everything up and they have an option to buy the team after two years, and Lackawanna county still owns the stadium. They have to be idiots, to put in the contract the management team could buy the franchise, because in two years, they could just pick up and leave, and then lackawanna county is stuck with a baseball stadium, and no team.

I went the first week in March, and to me there park was just whatever. It wasnt great, nor did it suck. But with the great terrain Stowe has, i cant see there park being the dission factor on wether or not going. But you school gives you guys a great deal. I would definetly skeet my pants for that deal. For my school you get 3 nights, 2 days on the slopes for $300.

Only trails green in Januarary, were both fasttracks, and whistler. Every other trail was open and in good condition in jan.
-
Here it goes again.
-
And if you want to skeet your pants, go over to Spruce, go on West Run, and directly take a right into the woods, right at the top. You will be skiing into the notch so be careful. But its tottally worth it, 15ft cliffs, extremely steep sections. Once you get to the bottom of the run hike left, and you will come out by the gondola. Crazy time last year. Just be careful if you do this, because its way off the map if you do it right. And be careful for frozen lakes and rivers, that was the scariest thing about hiking out last year. Walking over the lakes and rivers.

Anyone know how far this place is from Scranton, and would it be an easy drive?
-
Stowe didnt have many things to skeet over. But heres what they had. 1. Flat down box 2. 40ft table 3. 50ft table 4. Hip 5. Flat box 6. Rainbow box 7. C rail and thats all i remeber. There was more but we had 20 inches of powder, so park was last thing we wanted to hit.

It hasnt been updated yet.

Costs to much money to put down snow, and grooming and other stuff.

No reason for holliday valley should be on there, and okemo shouldnt be 10. Whiteface in the 5,6 area.

Its definetly gonna work this guy knows what he is doing, and he said that he would come in once a monthfrom Oregon, just to see how things are going, and will change the setups. He said flow is the best thing for this park. So it seems like nothing will be crammed.
-
snomtn.com Thats what i thought at first, but after we started talking, it sounded great. The guy said when ever he makes a park, the trail has to be at least either 150ft, or 200ft before he will do anything, and it will become 400ft wide. So what it will lack in length, it will make up in width. But we will have consecutive jumps this year, and like the pieces of junk we had. Everyone hope for the best at tommorows court hearing. O and the guy said he liked the idea of the flat box as an up box then gap to another flat box that would be set down.

Spike doesnt have 3, it has 1 more, while Mailine has 3 headwalls left.
