  1. From the top of Spike, then connecting with all of mailine after the first headwall of spike, then 3 more headwalls long. Seems long enough for me, and definetly wide enough.
  2. They said that what they want to do, is take all the trees out between Spike, and Mainline and they that would be the terrain park. Then the park would end at the new pipe, which would be at present snowtubing. The guy said he plans to build a lot of stuff, but he doesnt have any plans yet. He doesnt draw things down, he just goes by his head. Tommorow is the next court date. And the new management is the shit. They busted balls, cursed, and were nice guys. They said that people will be in the parks as ambassadors, and will help out people who dont know much. Basically it was the shit, and dont really feel like describing to much.
  3. Ski can tell you, I never slow down for Cannonballs headwalls. As much air as i can. Two things that stick out of my mind about jumping headwalls on cannonball are to good ones. First, My friend and I both jumped off the headwall, i went about 3 seconds before him, and when we got to the bottom, i turned, and i didnt look and he close lined me. I gave him the best black eye ever and fucked my knee up. Second, the same friend jumped over the third headwall, and cleared one of the guys going up on a snowmobile.
  4. Montage had two huge piles of snow, with orange fencing and signs, and the opening was about 3 feet wide. Didnt stop them, nothing will other than a park pass, or no rental sign.
  5. I doubt it, but if we do, why not embrace it and get a massage one day.
  6. Ya , when they moved the flat box down by the c box they were fun to hike and shit. But, I think it would be cool to have the thing i said.
  7. Thanks, man. They seemed like they were good, when i read everywere they worked at. Also i will mention the website on Tuesday, Im pretty sure Sno Mountain people are gonna be there.
  8. http://www.snomtn.com/terrainpark/ There saying a 70 foot jump. It looks like the meeting will be involved with Planet Snow industries, and i read there thing and they seem like they know whats up.
  9. I watched Show and Prove last night. It may have been the most boring ski movie ever made. I dont care to watch Tanner eat some cereal, or hear a shitty narrartor. I wanna know what the movie would have been like if CR didnt get hurt, imo it would have been much better then.
  10. Hey guys, Rich sent me another E mail today, but i deleted it. But he said they are committed and 100% serious. He said that this year, they want to have the better park in the area. I sent him a very long e mail, and asked him stuff, so ill post his reply.
  11. Whats there myspace link to see the pics?
  12. IF Sno Mountain has its way, i think it will be taken off the trail map. Because the one they had at the meeting didnt have Spur on it. All good ideas, what i want to see is, if not a park pass then a sign saying no rental equipment. Also, real rails, not the snow skate rails we have now. Every rail we have now are made for snow skates, so i want longer stuff. Also, if we could get away from tables, and more cheese wedge type of jumps that would be nice. And since there will be a beginner park, make all the rails/boxes in the good park gap on.
  13. Ya, usually no one gets back to you about anything at Montage. But when the GM, gets back to you, then maybe just maybe they are being serious.
  14. Thats what i was thinking, but who cares, it shows that the guy remembered my e mail from April.
  15. I just recieved this from Rich Schwartz. So anyone who is intrested, and able to make it try and be up the mountain on Tuesday. Sean, It may have taken me a while to get back to you, but I have a great opportunity for you and your snowboarding/skiing friends. Next Tuesday, Sept 19th from 4:00-5:30pm we are bringing our Terrain Park designer up to Montage. We want to hear all the input that you and your friends have. We will then incorporate that input into our Terrain Park design. We are going to put a lot of money into this endeavor and we want to do it right. This means we will use bigger jumps, rails etc. We are also planning on a second Terrain Park for beginners. This is just a small part of what improvements we will have at the Mountain. Please tell your friends and come up to the Mountain next Tuesday. If you have any questions feel free to call me @ 969-7669 x3802. Thank you, Rich Rich Schwartz, General Manager
  16. June and Mammoth are sister mountains, so ya its sick. Beat me to it.
  17. Ya we do, i was scared for a moment there.
  18. Im not really picking up on the sarcasm here. I hope it was sarcasm though.
  19. Its true, 1/9 of the people in lackawanna county are alcoholics.
  20. If you want nightlife, drive 7 miles from the parking lot, to Lackawanna Avenue and pick up a hooker.
  21. Ya im thinking it was really cold, the one kid we were with went for a swim after the jam.
  22. This maybe random, but does anyone have a good idea how cold the water was in the lake on the day of the rail jam?
  23. Fuck that. CMC is only 12,000 a year and thats at Steamboat springs. Main reason why i dont wanna go to college is because im cheap. I really dont think any education is worth 25+k a year.
  24. Thanks, right now if i go to college its either down to GMC or Colorado Mountain College for the same degree. Not really sure if i wanna go to school though.
