ideas for camelback(winter)-cross posted from CB forums
Sno Mountain Skier replied to 4 more wars's topic in Camelback
Assassin, you must realize, that this has been brought.on here and CB's MB over 100 times.I take it that Cb doesnt really care if its even on their own MB. This thread is just a waste, cuz everybody has been telling you things that are more important than listing stuff they need. First they need to learn to listen to locals talking about the basics, and then they have to know how to use this information. Then come up with ideas. -
I dont think so. The closing date is the 19th and when they make their mind up usaully its set.

What was your best trick landed this year
Sno Mountain Skier replied to Sno Mountain Skier's topic in General Chat
Yes, but it says jumps, im saying every aspect of park riding. -
Well i didnt go today but i went the day before and heres what was up. Cannonball had a small stream running down it towards the botttom. A pond near the quad. Lower runaway had mud all over the headwall. The blues were all in good shape. And all of the double diamonds were still great. Not sure about the greens. But evreything except for cannonball and lower runaway were in good shape.

It doesnt matter if you landed it once or a million times, just to say you landed it. For me I just started putting grabs and crosses in my spins. Also, I landed on Switch 270 butter on. I wanted to land a 720 this year, but it didnt happen. Next year for sure. So what about you?

Hopefully it rains, like it did last year.I couldnt make it, but my friends said it rained till 11am and then stopped, and the crowds were minimal.

Time to start thinking about Summer Camps
Sno Mountain Skier replied to Papasteeze's topic in General Chat
Dont waste your money on the wood. Just go to a construction site and get wood out of the dumpster. -
Im not hear to start an arguement, But those kids screamed at one of my friends off the lift and then they didnt admit to it.Then they started saying things like lets go ski since we are better then them. And That didnt piss me off, because i no im not as good as a couple of them. But, If you are going to say something to someone from a lift, then they should back it up when they were confronted about it.

No we are talking about kids from Montage, thats were all of those kids are from. No.
-
Good for you. I dislike them and you dont. They are a bunch of shit talking pussies.
-
No both jumps are 15 feet. But if you gap them, and land in the middle of the landing its about 30ft.
-
Most of our rails suck. But right now the flow is so good. Heres what the park is like. 1- Either Up rail or Flat down 2-flat rail 3-Cat gap jump(15 feet) Cat gap(30 feet) 4-Rainbow box 5-DFD rail 6-Gap on Battleship (setup perfect) 7-Either C box or flat box 8- tabletop(12 feet) or A whaletail box 9-Triple option jump (15foot,30foot,or 20foot) The park has the best flow right now it has had all year.

Well there calendar of events says thats when it is, so im going. But i have a $5 off coupon to any pa resort, so maybe in april when BC is still open with the park i will use it then.

Has anyone ever used the Snowmakers as race gates. Quick question though, Is there any difference between the two trails, whats the point of being right next to each other?
-
Well we will be coming up to either frost or BB for the customer appreciation day. So if you are there will ride together.
-
I think Montage is finally over with snowmaking for the year. Yesterday they blew in the park one last time.
-
Yea to bad all of those kids are fags. They talk so much shit up Montage. I know some of them are better then me, but they all are way to cocky. So I have to say one thing F*ck you DUB-C.
-
Everything at Montage is now $15. Tickets, rentals, lessons are only $15.Its a good deal, since the park has a new setup and the northface is still perfect.
-
Other my skiing sucking, and i say yo way to much, that was good edit nick. Also montages park is now setup differently from the video and we have a gap on now. Also we should strt filming again, because yesterday i started spinning again.
-
Montages date is also 3/19. I think they all called each other up and said this seems like a good date.

Ok here it goes. Day 1- First run we head through some woods and then have to hike 20 feet because of a pond. Then second run we take only half of us go down and then we get lost in the woods. One hour and fifteen minute hike out of the woods. For anyone who knows, we went to the right of west run on Spruce and ended up at the gondola. The ride down was great, waist deep all the way down. Then had to hike on flats and a littl up hill. Now we go to the lodge. Holy shit chilly is expensive, a little cup for $8. O and the reason we are on spruce, is because Mansfiled and gondola are on wind hold all day. So i only took about 8 more runs that day and was tired. Day2- We arrive at Mansfield and were psyched to get on the Quad and Gondola. Guess What, WINDHOLD.But then we went on the Double lift, and had a blast in the woods for our first, Hit a 10ft cliff so was pleased. A couple of more woods runs, and then went down part of toll road, and then to the park. TOll Road was a blast to fly down. But, the parks first jump, had so much pop. Hit was only anout a 30ft table, but put you about 15ft in the air. Next we head into the woods, and some guy tells us the Quad is open.We go over there and hit Liftline. It wasnt hard at all, Personally i think it should have been a single diamond. Then we cut over half way into Goat. That was a real fun trail. As we make our way down there, we see the cars for the Gondola were on the line. So we go to eat lunch and then head for the gondola. Got on there and then hit up Chinclip, One of my favorite trails there. After that we took a couple cruisers on the double and then were finished. All in all the skiing was great. I just wish the lifts werent on wind hold the first day. I wish i didnt get lost and have to hike. But the bus ride blew, and we were all ready to kill each other on there.

The snow during the hike was from mid thigh to chest deep in a couple of spots.

I wish my day could have gone better than it did. It was great, but my first run is one i will never forget. There was about 15 of us, and we were getting off the sunny spruce quad and headed left. We saw a path about 10 yards from the lift. As the first 5 of us went down, the others stayed behind because once they entered a local told them the path lead nowere. So its 5 of us going down the sickest run ever. Waist deep powder to shoulder high powder. In some parts it was steeper then White lightning so it was great and the trees were so close. Add a couple of cliffs and you have the best trail ever. But I get a call from one of the kids who didnt go down, and he said that the trail leads to a road. SHIT. But we never found the road. Once we got down to the bottom of the of it, we were in a valley. We then hiked in the woods, along a river for an hour and fifteen minutes, hiking through rivers and streams and fallin trees.. Until i said lets stop to take a piss. So we do and i hear a little girl yelling. We looked around and saw people in the distance. So we finally got out. But we went from midway on Spruce and ended up over at the base of the gondola. Talk about a far hike and ride. But nonetheless, the run was sick. But I was so beat, that we needed a brake. And then took only 7 more runs throughout the day.
