  1. I got one party to go to tonite down there. Its on iron st.
  2. Fuck, thats not what i wanted to here.Im leaving for bloomsburg in an hour or so, and then friday Im going down to university park. I was hoping for no ice,and maybe a little snow tommorow.
  3. Looks like everyone should watch their asses, Or santa and some guy will beat us up.
  4. I dont know Dave, I simply like the waking up early to go skiing. When I was skiing, I would go up as early as possible every day. And I drink every Friday and Saturday night, but thats not the point. Every other mountain in the area has already been open for a week now, and have there normal hours. Sno on the other hand has opened for two weekends, and when they officially open, they will open with shit hours. I for one wont ski at night, I never enjoyed it, and then a fall on the first jump two years ago ended my night skiing. So they will be open 48hrs a week while every one else will be open 84hrs a week. And for them opening early, this isnt anything out of the ordinary. They always used to open the first week of december. Just the past two years they have had some trouble. Two years ago, they didnt have snow guns till the beginning of december and then shit weather. Then last year, the weather wasnt the best. Try and think of montage and some of their openings. It really doesnt matter to me to much, since im not able to ski much this year. I really shouldnt be skiing at all but, I am gonna go up a few times. And when I do want to go up some of this shit will effect me.
  5. Still its 2 weeks of your break. I wanted to go up on Friday, during the day,o well.
  6. They will be opening for the season on Friday. Mid week only open 3pm-9pm,and sundays close at 6pm. THose dont sound like normal hours to me. I was gonna work up sno, but now seeing those hours, I just might not.
  7. Things must not be going to well,if hours have been cut on Sundays and Season Pass sales are still going on. They were supposed to be regular price by Mid Sept.
  8. Probally would have been better if they started them last night or the night before. They probally could have opened this weekend if they blew last night. But I dont know if they willhave enough for an opening.
  9. Cant really go wrong with either of those skis.
  10. We dont get along, and have been exchanging hate e mails to each other for about a month.
  11. Ya, with him gone it will be better. He is a piece of shit.
  12. Sno no longer has the services of world class terrain park builder ryan neptune. He got out of his contract a year early. Such a shame, he was so cool and such an innovator. =p, Incase you didnt see, that was sarcasm. Heres a message I got from the shit head. RyanNeptune --> montageskier You might be happy to know Planet is finally out of its contract with Sno-Mtn and I have worked out a plan for rails for Camelback and I am donating a rail jib feature and rake to Big Boulder all of which are now load. But since I am such a piece of shit and cant build anything according to you I guess it probably wont effect you too much eitherway.
  13. It looks like the snow/mix will stay in the northeastern corner for the whole day.
  14. It was snowing (flurries) in Scranton tonight.

  16. They will open when its cold enough. A few nights of snowmaking and they will be open, so whenever its cold for a few days they will be open.
  17. It lasts about a minute maybe a little longer. It cost $15 for your first ride, and then $10 for each ride after that. It is located at the top of the lift near the lodge and ends in the parking lot.
  18. Those prices suck dick. Hopefully i get laid off in the winter, so im able to work up sno and get a free pass.
  19. I might have somebody for ya. He drives a Vr6 jetta and is looking for a GTI. Ill let you know.
  20. Are you gonna go up there to ride it? I dont see the point for them to open it up ona regular basis. If I were them, I would open it on concert days at 2pm. When people start going up for concerts early, maybe they would take a ride on it. But being open all the time is a bad idea.
  21. While that is true, its not the case. Sno doesnt have the room to have a large park and superpipe on the same slope. Spike isnt big enough, to allow both things. The flow lacks because of it. And then if jumps were built the proper way, Sno could have an ok park. But those large mounds of snow are not jumps.
  22. When they took in applications, they said lifeguards would be trained at the local Y. I dont know when, but i figured training was around then.
  23. Called yesterday and they said July. July is a very broad term though, I still doubt that they will be open any day in the month of July.
  24. I was at the concert last sunday, and nothing is up. There is no cement anywere, and all of the slide pieces are behind the parking lot near the northface. Im betting snocove wont open until august 1, but i wouldnt be suprised if they didnt open at all.
  25. They dont even have cement laid down for their water park that was supposed to open this weekend. I doubt anything will ever happen there.
