  1. Of course you were wearing a polo shirt.
  2. maybe I'm being selfish, but softening up now means frozen solid when I get there tonight
  3. be careful what you wish for!
  4. i think we're talking about different floaters here...
  5. im not that old and I've had them as long as I can remember. If it's sudden and jarring, get it checked out. If it doesn't bother you, probably not a big deal, but could be symptoms of a partially detached cornea which is no Bueno.
  6. If midweek or late season works for you, getting in on a ski club is probably the best bet. My mom runs a ski club that ends up being a little less than $100 per person for 5 midweek/late season days. Mbike on here does the same thing but with 6 days for around ~$120 I believe. Around $20 a day to ski is a pretty solid deal in my opinion, if you can make the midweek restriction work til March 1st.
  7. do it. Rose, Ty and I will be there for opening. Looks like it's gonna be deep, I might need to bring the pow skis.
  8. irrelevant. Still a dumb name.
  9. #dumbesttrailnameever #beef #hate
  10. He's got the moves like Jagger
  11. did you know Burma road was named after a trade route in Asia during the WW2 era?
  12. Ya, 5 trails does not warrant full price to me
  13. i thought they're full price for tomorrow? For $35 I'm in, full price I'll wait til Sunday for more terrain
  14. i really hope you're kidding
  15. I know lactate is not the same thing, but how do milk stouts factor into this equation? They're made by fermenting lactose, so that counts, right?
  16. What's the plan for pricing this coming weekend? Still looking at $25 tickets?
  17. i felt the same way about my first lap down vista this year [emoji849]
  18. Just did two pair for Ty last weekend!
  19. also true. That might have been more user error than the instance at blue though
  20. pretty easy to do if they weren't mounted properly. If the holes weren't properly glued, or properly screwed down, it's pretty easy for moisture to seep into the core at that spot, thus weakening it right at the spot it sees a lot of stress. Just as likely could have been something totally different though. I snapped a pair of 4FRNTs carving down Main Street a few years ago, I guess just due to a shitty core. They snapped just behind the shovel, looked a lot like the surface new life or whatever with the weird angle rocker profile.
  21. what shop did you go to? Basin has always treated me well up at Killy.
  22. they used to have a '94 Impala. That thing was a sleeper, but they got rid of it. He's rippin around a '15 WRX now I believe.
  23. All things considered, it was a pretty rad opening night. Glad I skipped biking and opted for blue instead. Ty, Vince and I got on snow around 7:15 after the usual first day bike pass/ski pass confusion. Bumps on midway were super fun with some good side booter tranny finding action goin on off to the left. Lower main was whatever, good to make some turns none the less. The spine on vista was next level, lots of grinding opportunity. The soft snow was a nice change of pace from what I've skied this year, but I wish it was colder. I sent a few big dog booters for the boys and made it MSY mad steezy yo. See ya in 2016!
