  1. Doug, you forgot to mention that not only am I the best skier on the mountain, but I'm also a local celebrity. I mean, I'm featured on billboards and bus wraps after all.
  2. Hope he's ok, he got a concussion from that one. Dude got rocked hard.
  3. if my boots fit, I'm in. Toast bring your GoPro.
  4. hell yeah! They've gotta be kids blades though. Bsl is 316 though
  5. way nicer than mine anyway! Does that use the small propane bottles? Like the green Coleman shits? If so I'll bring an extra if I have any left.
  6. no mud puddle tomorrow, it's gonna be an ice rink. I wish you still had your snowblades so I could borrow them for the weekend.
  7. This is clearly the best option. I got some troegs perpetual IPA for us to eat.
  8. tried to fire up the portable grill tonight and it's not playing nice. anything else still needed?
  9. probably gonna be doing Stowe and then whatever terrain we can hike/tour to from there, no real plans yet honestly. First weekend in May might work for me if that's when you're tryin to do tux
  10. Heading to vt mid April for closing weekend at Stowe and some east coast BC touring with a a friend who runs a shop up there. Super stoked and will be following this thread to see what's good up in VT!
  11. the party is every lift ride from here til closing day
  12. Had this happen to me on closing day a few years ago. They had "swept" the east side of the mtn and were trying to tell us to go to the top lodge. Saying we parked at the bottom meant nothing, kept getting directed toward Burma. Screw that, it's 60° out, I'm not walking the length of Burma to get back to my car. We split up and took lazy, switchback, and main down so they now had to sweep all three again.
  13. please. I'm the best skier on the mountain.
  14. On3p makes some fine skis, too!
  15. never said that, but it's a public forum. If you post about organizing a party and who's bringing beer and whatnot, that's cool, but I'm not sure if figuring out who's bringing what illegal substances on a public forum is really the smartest idea. That said, I'll probably be bringing some tinnies as well. Can't very well ski around with a keg!
  16. Talking about shit like this probably doesn't help to keep a job either. I can bring the grill; I'll run and get more propane so there's no shortage of gas. No promises it's gonna be there by 715 though.
  17. agreed. Got there at 9, should have slept in til at least 10. It definitely got better as the day went on, and was almost "good" by the time we had to peace out around 1:30. Bumps had finally started to soften enough to be skiable, but I was on stupid wide skis so that added a bit of difficulty. Here's to hoping we get some good spring skiing next weekend instead of the refrozen junk from today.
