best of luck. If I can offer a word of wisdom for navigating sketchy mountain passes in a snow storm in a vehicle you're not familiar with, drive slower than you're normally comfortable with. You'll still get where you need to go. Not totally knowing how a car's AWD system is going to react if/when it slips is the worst to me.

I don't understand why anyone goes to the top lodge with the exception of the bar. Conditions were pretty awesome today; skied from 8 til about 4 with a solid beer break in between. Got to try a few new to me skis thanks to nmski and skinsurf, which was fun. Third jump on sidewinder is nice but definitely a bit of a gamble with the wind today. I'm excited to hit it with better weather. Burton, I hope you weren't the dude I was yelling at in the VIP line. He was griping about VIP neglect but didn't even have a season pass, then fell back to the basic skier vs snowboarder beef when I called him out on it.

If you have the money for a down payment, a mortgage on a house in philly would probably be cheaper than monthly rent. I'm paying a little bit more now in mortgage, but my house is way bigger and nicer than the 1 bedroom I used to rent. Get yourself some roommates lined up and you could almost cover your mortgage on their rent alone.

Skied from 7 til close tonight. Overall, bears parks are pretty fun. Nothing super crazy, but a good variety with some creativity. The jumps on black bear (?) were fun and I leaned some new stuff. Après at long swamp was also on point, with a PASR pool hustler sighting.

5-time club cards have nothing to do with what is or is not a weekend for day ticket prices or hours. The club cards are good for 5 or 6 days, Monday through Thursday til some time in March? First weekend maybe? Then they're good every day.

Yeah, most of the time what I post should not be taken with any degree of seriousness. Just headin up after work for some mellow park laps and probably beers at the grille before and after. Happy hour still go til 7pm?
