pretty much the only time it's been worth going up at night is if it rained during the day and would still be soft, but it seems most times that's happened this year, they close at 5. why be open while it's raining, but then closed after it stops?

good to hear. carl's a good guy; he's done a ton of work on my bike and definitely knows what's up. generally the going rate is around $75 if none of the equipment was purchased at the shop where you're having the work done. this is obviously a case by case basis, and there are certainly places you can get hookups...

i would push on that one. if they're charging weekend rates but not following weekend hours, that's pretty crappy.

really fun road. getting back up the hill on the way home from blue if there's snow on the ground and you don't have AWD is pretty rough though. also, regardless of the posted speed limit, it's fully acceptible to go 60 on that road. especially around the sharp turn. swing that back end around and it's all good.

All true. Kt and I got to hang with her for a bit at a movie premier a while back. She's one of most genuine, nicest people I've ever met, and was such a great ambassador for this sport. I'm glad I can say I had the chance to meet her.
