  1. apparently the JF race coach last weekend didnt get the memo that the far left line is not just for the spandex party anymore, and tried to call us out in front of basically the whole lift line for 'cutting in front of his kids who needed to get to the top ASAP for their race.' we promptly directed him to look at the VIP sign at the front of the line, and then he called us losers or something else really offensive like that. upon getting farther up the mountain on the 6 pack, the race hadn't even started yet. good job race coach, way to make your program look like a joke.

    Hmmm

i've skied them, and don't ever care to do so again, although it seems you're looking at it as more of an all mountain ski that i would be.

    Hmmm

just curious, why would you trade the silencer for the palmer...?
  4. just throwing this up to gauge interest. i'm looking at buying a new car now that i'm out of school and a real life working person and all that business. i currently drive a 98 legacy gt wagon and wanted to see if there was any interest here. 182k miles, 2.5l flat 4 cyl. rated at 165hp, 5speed manual transmition, leather seats, sunroof, factory rack, some minor dents in the drive door and front left fender from a deer that decided to sneak out onto the road, but no damage to anything internal from that. i don't really have a certain price i'm looking for, just seeing if anyone is interested.
  5. yes. what kind of camera did you shoot that with? looks like the awesome quality of a sony digital 8. what sort of editing issues did you have? being drunk doesnt count...
  6. bring your TMs for some park laps, sidewinder's in good shape right now.
  7. so lets get a pasr keg fund going, fill that thing, and put a combo lock on it. i've found that since they increased the prices for the caf food, its way more cost effective to get food from the bar. pay an extra dollar or so for a sandwich, but its a much better and bigger sandwich than what you get from the caf line. i think i paid like $6 for a pulled pork sandwich with nachos and cheese? not too bad compared to what you'd get for the same price in the caf line.
  8. meet us there at night sometime. the lighting is much netter than blue so its not that bad, and it'll be cheaper
  9. is boulder really worth it to hit 3 mediocre jumps on widow?
  10. i was up last night. might hit up bear again on thursday though.
  11. blue's not good enough to pay to ride there?
  12. yes! i felt that thing grab in about 5 different spots, and its not even a long rail. the jumps on blackbear seem pretty worthless/tiny/awkward, but the jumps in the tubing line are really fun, especially the bottom hit.
  13. can the first jump be bigger? slowing down for that, then having to tuck into the 3rd was a little challenging. make the first bigger and you'll be able to carry more speed through the whole line. other than that everything is pretty fun, especially all the new stuff like the corrugated pipe, cannon box, wooden wallride, and finally the dfd rail. good job guys, fun event today.
  14. oh nice they got a flat bar in instead of that ghetto beat wave box. you doing the triple threat this saturday?
  15. as long as little miller crashes himself into giant while riding a shopping cart.
  16. isnt OL express the tree run next to outer limits? it seems like its just a connector but i think it dips into the trees...
  17. how'd you do? was there a good turnout? i hate to be like certain other members of this site, but give us details haha
  18. is that because you don't like rails?
  19. that ski uses a system binding, so unless you've got some connections with salomon that are going to give you a system binding without the ski, its gonna be pretty difficult to buy, then sell the demo bindings, then buy regular bindings to put on them.
  20. the jump itself is nice. its more of a speed/maybe spacing issue than anything. on saturday, clearing the first, then going for the second, you really didnt have to tuck at all into the second, but clearing the 3rd from the landing of the second was difficult unless you landed top of the landing and tucked the whole way. maybe moving the second jump up the hill a little bit could help? i know that's no easy task. also, it could just be the slow snow right now. the shape of the jumps are all really nice, except the awkward flat wedge drop off thing. get some handrails in down there or something instead.
  21. wrong. the knuckle is the same height as the lip, therefore you are not stepping down.
  22. always a fun way to start your day by prying your eyelids open. i somehow usually manage to remember to take out my contacts, even on the worst of nights.
  23. yesterday that jump was perfectly clearable. today, it definitely was not. i wouldn't let that bother you, since it really wasnt anything you did wrong today. give it a shot again when the snow isnt quite as slow and it wont be a problem. were you the kid on the rossi scratches that was spitting blood?
  24. yeah 3rd jump was basically off limits today. it was fun yesterday, but even hitting it coming off the 2nd was difficult yesterday.
