interesting, i dont think kevins have them?

i could be wrong, but i'm almost positive that the binding in the picture is not the one they're selling. i dont think they dropped that toe down to a 12 din, or gave a 12 din binding the wormscrew heel. notice in the description it says the binding has the 3mm shock absorber pad? no pad on the binding in that picture... 200 for px15s is a killer deal however.

better question... snowgrind builts stuff like that elsewhere, why the hell not at blue?

knifey knifey knifey knifey!

i've seen him out riding with john a few times throughout the year. he usually seems too busy taking care of things inside to ride, which sucks for him.

yes, and yes. flat to gap to down box setup, something thats good for switchups through the gap. does boulder have a nice flat down at all? i dont recall them having one, but a i think frost does? get the hybrid flat down from frost and bring that out, with a nice gap onto it.
-
the sexy down flat down. not the short crappy one, the nice long one. and the long hybrid box set up on a slight upslope with a long landing.
-
no way! you have your own automobile? thats so cool! i will probably be there as well, also in a car of my own, which i have paid for on my own since i was 17...

it was really fun today. probably the best event blue's put on in a very long time. thanks to everybody who made it happen.
-
you actually want to be reminded of how terribly set up all those rails were?
-
set up the double barrel how it was for the march railjam and no one will be disappointed. that was the best setup you've ever had at blue.
-
are you going to be there? if you ski well, you've got just as good a shot as anybody. i really dont know what you're talking about. for one of the tuesday night fever comps, a couple random kids from boulder showed up, who park crew did not know, and they took 1, 2 in their age group, beating out blue kids, who park crew rides with on a regular basis. like keith said, a lot of the guys are actually trained and certified judges, which is more than can be said for most comps in our area. over the years, i've found blue's judging to be the most consistant and fair, and i've competed at pretty much every place around here for a bunch of years.

seriously. if they think that event was a success in any way, they've got to be kidding themselves. every time we asked what the formats were going to be, or what was being judged, we got cryptic answers. i still don't know whether finals was based on best trick, or putting together an entire run, since we were told the format for finals was 'best trick but land your whole run,' whatever that means. the rails used were straight dangerous, and they used hula grass to try and cover the fact that they didnt have skirting under them in some spots, and the lips onto rails might have actually been sloping downhill with negative kick to them. prizes for the podium were pretty subpar as well. there's no way there was 10 g's worth of legitimate prizes for this thing. subaru hats and pepsi one t shirts do not count. besides that, it was a really nice day, great weather, free energy drinks, and a good crew of kids to hang out with. props to camelback for putting this thing on, but if you're going to advertise that you have over 10 g's worth of prizes, then have real prizes, and make your rails safer, get some skirting under those things.

its supposed to rain saturday, is this still going down?

i'm coming from philly as well. took about an hour and a half each way. i was there today. the jumps got a lot smaller than they were last weekend, and the landings are kind of flat, but still hitable. single barrel in the plaza was fun, long flat box up on top of bunny whatever was fun, so was the down box. i was lazy and didnt spin anything over 5 today.
-
you live in philly. either you take the most random back ass roads, or you drive like an 85 year old grandmother. it doesn't take 3 hours to get to boulder from philly. even if it did, i'd still drive it to hit one good jump.
-
the first jump on boulder is tiny. sack up.

thats a stretch. we'll see if we can get trevor to get out of bed...

filming/shooting sunday.

good swing weight on those poles. really helps you keep your rhythm through the bumps, right? but on a serious note, at least she's out there skiing. its more than can be said for some of the other employees at the mountain.

blue has sent their groomers to cutters camp....

you mean the guy who made your son get out of the lift tower when he was filming for us on saturday?
