don't worry about it.

obermeyer's stuff fits pretty big. i have large pants from them for the length, and i can barely keep them up even with a belt.
-
what kind of skis, and which P12 binding? is it the old P12, or is it actually the newer PX12? also, which brake do they have? most P12s came with a 75mm brake, unless they were the P12 jib, which had a 78-80mm brake. the new PX Jib has a 78mm brake, but there are different versions of the binding this year that come with different brake sizes. gimme more info and i'll give you more info.

i most likely will be doing it. gotta defend my title after all... the looks i got when i showed up for skiercross on a pair of seths were priceless, and well worth the price of entry for sure
-
i would assume building it would be done by tomorrow, but opening it for tomorrow or thursday with all this rain seems like a bit of a waste...
-
height: weight: age: ability: what you ski most often: where you ski most often: how aggressive are you: what you currently ski on (boots/skis/bindings): what you like/don't like about your current set up: answer that and i'll be able to give you a pretty solid idea of what to look for. if you're planning on getting new skis soon, i wouldnt waste your money on a remount on the juvy right now. that ski is so light that mounting it true center isnt going to make much a difference.

that would be a ton of fun. as for the cement mixer/canon/rocket ship/lava lamp, its a lot more fun than i thought it would be. i've been kinda hitting it from an angle, bonking it, and landing on the back side of the transition instead of just coming into it straight trying to use it as a wallride like i've seen most people doing (and dying.) cant wait for sidewinder though. that little jump on sidewinder now isnt bad, but the run out is kinda sketchy being so close to the trees.
-
not sure if i follow. you could set it up higher off the ground and have a mellow urban style lip on either side of it? sure, you miss the first 2 feet or so, but it'd be better than how it is now. its just kinda awkward right now.
-
uhhhh whats with the lip on that flat box? its about 4 inches high, and 3 feet back from the rail....? and the 'rebuild' on come around? the flat down rail was better before, besides the crosstrail traffic.
-
your post looks like some sort of strange haiku. i'd guess the first jump was 10-15 and the second was 15-20, maybe 25 tops; not really that big at all. the landings have been frighteningly icy every time i've rode that trail this year.
-
south peak lift line is a lot of fun too. i dont think its really what the kitten is looking for, but with some snow and some speed, there's a couple fun launches/rollers/drops on that run.
-
depends what you're looking for, but if you're in it for the whole experience and not just the riding, whistler's the place to go. i've had almost a foot of fresh in may, and epic park riding as well, and there's never a shortage of stuff to do apres in the village, thats for sure. ask toast about what to do when you've had too much to drink and you see a large rock next to the sidewalk...

dont get me wrong, big boulder and freedom parks blow blue away as of last i rode either (saturday at boulder, sunday at blue). i'd be willing to be boulder's got some of the best jumps on the east right now, and the dfd rail in the plaza is straight butter, but love, widow, whatever the hell you wanna call it, sucked. get that 40 foot single barrel in the plaza so it gets used and abused like it should be.
-
i skied a pair of butterlicious that were pretty fun. i didnt really notice anything special about them, but they seemed like a solid ski. BMTROUBLEMAKER owns them, he'd give you a better impression of them than i could since he skis them every day.
-
no. i'd take bear over love by a small margin, blue over love by a large margin. the jumps on love sucked, and i'm not a fan of that concrete/metal piece of crap at the bottom either, and the down rail in the middle is way short. not really worth it to ski a run for one feature if you as me. bear or blue both have 5+ features in a row in their parks, on trails half the length of love. blue now has sidewinder open (partially), come around being rebuilt today, and most likely lower park set up by the weekend too. edit: blue has two jumps, one on come around thats comparable to what's on freedom, and one on sidewinder that i havent hit yet, but the landing looks nice and steep. size is about 25ish.
-
keith, any chance we're gonna see sidewinder top to bottom by tomorrow (saturday)?
-
i'm in philly you clown. that new box looks like tons of fun. i guess they finally listened to everyone and went for round coping huh? i'm pretty stoked for the single barrel too, can't wait.
-
whats with everyone and their false sense of distance? what i saw this morning looked nothing close to 100 feet. it barely looked to be 30, actually. keith, please dont set up that flat box ride on like it looks like it is right now... and why don't they blow you guys any nice snow on come around to work with? or lower park? it was cold last night, and still is right now, but they're really not blowing...
-
kt, trev, and i were up yesterday with justin. boulder park was pretty much perfect. good times. i wish boulder/frost were 10 minutes from my house instead of blue.

peep the profile, kid's bday is in 2001, which means 6 years old. the internet kinda didnt exist when i was 6, but my parents definitely would not have let me go online unsupervised, if at all. what need for the internet does a 6 year old have besides disney.com? i hope there's some parental supervision involved here...
-
i seriously doubt that. you can wait til you're 18, go to the DMV, and get your license right away without even having your permit. once you're 18, you're not a minor anymore, therefore they can't give you a junior license.
-
boulder was on point when i got there at 7pm. i am 100% positive i could not have said that about blue if i got there the same time tonight. first hit on boulder park is probably the best jump i've hit in PA, ever. i havent hit the bottom two yet though, but they look pretty nice.
-
have they not been grooming the top due to thin cover and soft snow? that combo kinda leads to them digging up the snow pretty bad on the steeper pitch of the first headwall. while i agree that they need to lay off the rocks and maybe flush the zinc out of their system, a winch cat would do wonders for the place, particularly challenge, razors, and sidewinder...

super excited for this one, you guys did an awesome job with the setup in montgomeryville last year. any pro skiers coming in that you know of?
