what the hell have they been doing with challenge that has made it so ultra shitty this year? i havent been to blue since challenge opened, so i havent skied it, but from what i've heard, its like a block of swiss cheese? how can they possibly groom something that terribly and be ok with the end result?

thank you everyone who said they're glad they went this morning, because it will suck at night. it makes me hate my life.

i wish. i've got a video to finish this week, and i'm the only one in my department due to me not having vacation days yet, so i have to be there in case any work comes in. pretty beat. just convince them all to stay another day; you know boulder's better than riding roundslop.

yeah the barrels are still on the qp, it had a real nice transition yesterday. i wish visibility would have been better for the jumps on boulder. papa, word on the street is steve's coming back up next weekend and bringin tom with, can you confirm? kev and i both have off saturday so i think we should be there.

i was out tonight, it was pretty fun. maybe its just me, but it seems like all the lips to everything are always just slightly awkward at bear. i ride at blue and boulder most of the time, and whenever i ride bear, it takes me forever to figure out the lips onto their rails. it seemed like all the transitions were really long and drawn out, with no kick, except for the stuff that was set up urban, which had awkward amounts of kick, like the flatstock down rail. the rails and boxes themselves are super nice, i just find the setups to be kinda strange somehow.

all you lazy sacks slept in this morning? it actually wasnt too bad first thing. whatever was falling from the sky slowed down and it was kinda fun, but then it got a bit warmed and it started pouring, which sucked, so we left.

trying to bounce up there after work, so i'll be skiing like from 7 til i cant deal with the ice anymore.

work til 5..... boooooo. i'm tryin to bounce up the turnpike right after work and get in a few hours. turnpike's gonna be a bloody mess though, i just know it.

they're really not that bad. i had em on today, you probably couldnt even tell. you still get beat up on the bad falls, but little stuff like sliding out on a rail and whatnot isnt nearly as bad with them on.

crashpads are your new best friend.

they were blowing at the base when i drove past today, but they dont have very much snow on home stretch at all. they didnt have the guns turned on there or falls, just down at the base; kinda weird. mainstreet is pretty well covered top to bottom, side to side, unlike opening last year.
