  1. she's got bigger balls than most of the guys there
  2. killer pow ski for a smaller guy. too bad i'm 6 feet tall.
  3. i'm in the longsleeve, KT is in the shortsleeve
  4. peep it. why he uses google and the worst compression ever, i dont know, but anyway... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=81...71995&hl=en
  5. 65 is a good deal, alas i don't wear 28.5 boots nor do i need a new pair. someone snag these!
  6. a crime, yeah, thats for BB to decide. unsafe? no more so than me getting rink snow and hitting a handrail.
  7. dinosaurs with guns?! count me in! and what happened to dakine as a sponsor...?
  8. so you shouldnt ski BC stuff cause its not partrolled? and i shouldnt go surfing if there are no lifeguards on the beach? or my friend shouldnt go biking at a trail at south mountain because its not officially monitored by anyone? your logic is silly. obviously anyone wanting to hike those rails realizes the risk involved by not having staffed patrollers. boulder doesnt want the liability, plain and simple.
  9. sloths are such fine creatures
  10. weren't you just asking me for a pair of twintips? and his are atomic no less! buy them! pay him, so he can pay me back for his plane ticket! seriously though, lots of good gear for cheap.
  11. so for anyone who missed out and didnt make it to boulder, you should kick yourself in the ass for not getting up there. the last hit in the jump line was pretty much perfect, even though you had to tuck 2/3 of the trail to get speed for it. the whole jib park was really fun too, til i got worked on that down box...
  12. so the down rail was pretty fun, and so was the quarterpipe, but the other rail setups were kinda weak, mostly due to the rails themselves, and not really how they were set up. i liked the little extension on the quarterpipe a lot. i agree with whoever said that practice was a lot more fun. once the comp started, they realized that their format was just not going to work for that many people and tried to organize things, which just made everything run way too slowly. in 50 minute sessions, i think we got 3 hits on each line. there was definitely a good crew of skiers there that made the event a lot more fun.
  13. wtf is with camelback trying to make shitty quarterpipes for their rail jams
  14. the swingset was lame, and really not that hard at al did you ride blue at all later in the season? the whole top section of sidewinder was all either urban or gap on rails, down, flat, or flat down. there was nothing circus like up there and they were all set up better than anything i hit at bear this year. and whats wrong with big jumps? there were small and medium sized jumps too.
  15. you're joking, right?
  16. this coming from the person who rides at a mountain that was open about half as long as blue was this season...
  17. sorry, tried to edit so the images showed, i suck. jeff, save me.
  18. so upon cleaning my room, i found lots of stuff i have accumulated that i dont really need, and figured i'd give you guys first dibs on it before it goes to ebay. everything is new, unless otherwise listed. so here we go: pair of size 27.5 dalbello/intuition lines. i got these from my rep when i got my rampages, tried them out for two days, and just couldnt get used to them, but i know there's a ton of people on here who swear by intuition liners. i'm thinking $75 for them, since they are almost brand new, and can still be molded to your feet no problem. dynastar flexfit hat; black with red dynastar logo on the front, white "dynastar" text on back. $10 k2 beanie; embroidered k2 logo, $10 rossi visor; grey and navy blue, embroidered rossi logo, velcro adjustable, $10, i have two of these rossi water bottle; pretty much your standard bike bottle, with rossi logo, $5 salomon visors, black with salomon logo on front, velcro adjustable, black with blue or black with orange, $10 camelback s/s tee, gray with black trim, camelback logo on center chest, $10 palmer jersey type thing, its kind of like a hockey jersey i guess? ventilated armpits! they're making skis now so i figured someone can start up the bandwagon by snagging this before the hype builds up... dalballo tee signed by plake, dark grey with dalbello logo on front, plake's head and signature on back, $20 pearl izumi jersey, very lightweight and breathable $15 headband/wristband bundle; fischer(2), north face, and spyder, $5 for all four rollerblade trucker had, adjustable, $10 fischer hat, velcro adjustable, $10 spyder tee, red with spyder graphic on chest, and spyder logo very small right below the collar on the back, $10 line special forces tee, tan with green, size large $10 salomon backcountry tee, navy with backcountry graphic on chest, salomon logo small on back below collar, XL, $10 bolle johnny mosely vinyl banner, $10 scott sticker sheet(4), lots of stickers, they're printed on this material and seem really durable, good for decorating skis and cars, $2 per sheet salomon adrenaline hunters dvd, has footage of various comps, includes skiing, snowboarding, if i remember correctly there's a skiercross segment, and a gagnier segment too, pretty cool dvd, $5 session 1242, self explanatory, one of the best ski movies ever made, $10 smith hat, black with green and yellow john deere style logo, $10 dakine tahoe gloves, size medium, leather palm, wrist gators, DK dry insert so your hands stay warm and dry, i've had a pair of these in the past and they were very warm and comfy, $30 quiksilver todd richards coat, size large, i'm not entirely sure i want to part with this, since i could always just use it next year, but make me an offer if you're truly interested bonfire noise pant, size large, matches the quiksilver coat almost perfectly, same deal as the coat, i'm not sure if i want to get rid of them, but if the price is right, i'll part with them, i'd prefer to sell the coat and pants as a set, and will give a better deal if they both go to the same person
  19. so jeff... seeing as how boulder is nothing but park riding right now, and that i happen to have an extra set of skis hanging out in my garage, lets see you throw that 3 you've been talking about all season, eh? anyone else wanna see this happen?
  20. more importantly... what chair has four "aryan wear" stickers on it? could blue mtn be any more hick?
  21. i agree. a normal weekday in season was 27. for students it was only 17. now, they're only open weekends, only run one chair, and only have what, 5 trails, and they're charging more than most kids paid in season with everything open. at least honor the student discount like they did on tuesday and thursdays.
  22. uhhh, when were you at blue this year? end of january all through february when it was actually cold out their snow was on par with the best manmade stuff i've ever skied. also, how do you figure all the trails are the same? i cant think of two that are even really similar besides challenge/razors or the school hills. sidewinder and switchback used to be kind of similar, but sidewinder has been widened and regraded so its really nothing like switchback anymore.
  23. ha that doesnt offend you? although i did notice that the majority of people at boulder are like 13; it makes me feel elderly or something.
