  1. It is an NSAID, but a newer different molecule. Has a longer half-life so you only need to take it less often than others. Of course be careful about NSAIDS (especially Tylenol) and alcohol consumption. I usually take an Aleve or Advil before skiing to keep inflammation down, and keep being a spry old geezer šŸ˜‚
  2. We use a Honda 2000 thatā€™s super quiet.
  3. I got a Tens machine that is also pretty good on a sore neck.
  4. Left side of TCS was sweet early on. Also left at 10:15, glad I got my fill of Razors yesterday, top headwall was kind of a mess of puffy piles. Main St and switch were nice.
  5. Iā€™ll pick up some fresh bagels and cream cheese from Bagel Experience in Brodheadsville? Think a dozen is enough?
  6. I know you did, and took it as such. My wife is still laughing at me after seeing that comment. šŸ˜‚ She is the one I am upset with because her dog woke me up from my afternoon nappy time. Good seeing you today, hopefully another good day tomorrow. šŸ‘
  7. You just did it to make me feel better. And a big FU to JL. Spry indeed. Young whippersnapper. 18 runs on Razors today while you all had to go to work. That will show you.
  8. Thought I saw you talking to your crew just before the quad opened.
  9. MainStreet and Widowmaker great too. Crowds picked up about 1130. Didnā€™t have six pack running in the morning.
  10. Thanks, think Iā€™ll try a real mountain tomorrow.
  11. I heard this is the last weekend they are scheduling lessons.
  12. First day back, got there at about 11, half a dozen runs. Snow heavy, but not sloppy. 35 degrees and sunny. Same old, same old. Looks like they tried to widen River Shot from elevator glade to the bottom. Challenge glade pretty overgrown, no bumps on Exhibition. New snow looked pretty in the trees. The old back felt pretty good.
  13. What should be done to school board members when a child dies due to Covid caught in an unmasked school environment?
  14. Looks like Iā€™m out for at least four weeks. Tried to do too tight of a turn going too fast on the big left-hander on sidewinder, skidded out and wound up just off the trail on my back. Cracked rib and several cracked transverse processes in my lower back, no real therapy needed just time to heal. Cat scan and back brace. Good season while it lasted, sucks to get old. See you next year.
  15. Unless itā€™s roped off, or a closed for racing sign, Iā€™d consider it open. I think they post RIP cause there are ramps with poles. I asked a patroller when the sign first went up and he said it was ok to run it. As long as you donā€™t drink a beer while on the slope. [emoji23]
  16. Or Koch Bros and DeVoss support of school board elections to push privatization. Iā€™m all for repealing Citizens United.
  17. Out for a couple of hours late afternoon with the DW. Lapped challenge and thunderbolt. They were both in pristine shape. River shot was a little scraped off and Floyds was a lot narrower than it normally is. A nice sunny warm afternoon, but the snow wasnā€™t at all slushy. Overall pretty quiet.
  18. Like the crowd when T* came down the escalator to announce his run for the presidency, they are paid actors, this time with trucks. 10 million dollars in go fund me from dark money.
  19. Wondering what will happen a year from now when a trucker stops at a weigh stop or border crossing and the inspector sees in his database that truck was part of the antivax blockage.
  20. Just remember, our true enemies are not the oligarchs, but rather the people who are poorer than we happen to be. They are the ones taking all our money, not billionaires whose employees are paid so little they have to have welfare to survive.
  21. They started with the quad, but had some lengthy stops, so the sixer started about when you did. Main Street was good with some blown snow covering the top, and the bottom wasnā€™t too lumpy. They had bundles of poles on top of the jumps on Razors. TCS was covered with grippy blown snow.
  22. Touched up the edges last night, so early morning was a Razors session. Agree Switch was the run of the day though. Really like the top 3/4 of Main St, but the bottom is sketchy. Quad still wasnā€™t loading when I left at 11:30, but the six pack line wasnā€™t too bad.
  23. Iā€™ve heard that Vail is going to replace most of the lifts at Frost and Boulder. I wonder if they will sell lifts from their other properties to Frost and Boulder and put new lifts in their first tier properties. They could play a lot of games with profitability, debt and tax strategies. They canā€™t play as many games with monthly expenses like labor and utilities, which is where they seem to be penny pinching.
  24. Notice any difference carving turns down razors with the new edges on your tuned skis?
  25. Waiting for the six pack to drop the rope. Just when it was about ready, red coats with a sled scooted in and we had to wait for them.
