It looks cool. Anyone try it on or ski it yet?
-
What's up with this boot you mentioned above? I havn't heard anything about it.
-
Wow, are you loaded? Bode would be proud of you! Have one for me.
-
You forgot: "That's the 5000th thing you knew that I didn't." AND now we are approaching 6000 with that last post. Why didn't you end that post with...... "First Grade, I'm surprised you didn't know that or I can't believe you didn't know this. Wow. You continue to surprise me." Are you positive your not an Astronaut? Come on fess up.
-
Thanks Ski. That's the 5000th thing you knew that I didn't. What would I do without you? Your the best.

You are expanding this into a whole bunch of stuff I never said. All I said is that Head isn't exactly desperate do to the fact that they hold 2 WC titles from last year. The discussion was about racing, not recreational skis. Your babbling about the recreational skis is just ridiculous. You are correct about Atomic having many more points than Head or any other company but the SG and DH titles went to skiers on Head. I don't understand why you are arguing that. Sounds like your jealous that I got a few pairs of skis for free. They came from a friend at Salomon in Canada. Salomon isn't selling race stuff in the US this year. I called you a dick head because your being a dick head!
-
You insist on being a dick head! Don't you? Where do you come up with this bullshit? Speed events rule in Europe. Nobody remembers if you win in GS or SL. The fact of the matter is that Head won the SG(Miller) and DH(Cuche) title last year and that is with a very small fraction of the athletes that Atomic has. Head won those titles. Atomic finished behind them! Your argument is like saying Chevy is kicking Toyota's ass in NASCAR. No kidding, everyone drives a Chevy. Nobody cares about the manufacturer points. Where did I say anything close to this: "It's cool, though, 1st Grade, that your depth of knowledge on the subject far exceeds that of longtime reps and other industry professionals."

Not going to open this year. Snowguns are expensive.
-
I'm not so sure thay are "a desperate company". Head holds both the Mens WC SG and DH titles. Those are huge bragging rights in Europe! I guess they think "Mr. Saltzgeber" never dealt with a top level athlete. Hahahaha!

165 SL, 183 GS. No sidecut info, just SL and GS. Lots of #'s but nothing that makes any sense to me.
-
Salomon hooked me up with them. I have to return them at the end of the season with my evaluation. I can't sell them. They are sick because they are new skis! New skis rock!
-
2 new pairs of Salomon lab skis arrived today. They are sick. All they say is "Salomon Test SL" and "Salomon Test GS". No dimensions or any other info on them except a bunch of numbers on the base and tail. Can't wait to try these babies.

Go to Hermans. Nestors and Kaplan suck! (Talk to the tall guy in fishing rods)

It's a bunch of snow made into a jump! BFD! 70.5 hours to build a jump out of snow! Now that's something to be proud of. I'll bet he makes a hell of a snowman! Where do you think he gets the giant carrots for the nose? -

Looks like a jump to me. What's the big deal? For how much time he spent, it better look good. It probably looked like shit a week later. There were probably 10 kids that had the nads to hit it. Big waste of time and money. -
I already told you it's not going to open this year. Take that to the bank.

Hahahahahahahahahaha.

What hate? Your wrong and won't admit it. Your a head case! You don't understand and are so nice to me you can't comprehend "set courses so that no course is within 5% of the cap time." You must have been a newspaper reporter because you are a good friend! I don't know where you come up with these out of this world ideas of who I am. You know nothing about me. But now I know your a Soldier of Fortune and a smuggler! Keep the personal attacks out.

One more time...............below is what NASTAR publishes about CAP. I will explain it to you. The red part is the part I will discuss. Ski........You know what CAP is you are just confused on the turny part. Each course is essentially a modified GS course with anywhere from 12 - 20 gates that racers must maneuver around. Gates are set with 18-20 meters of space between gates vertically and 4-8 meters of offset. NASTAR encourages resorts across the country to standardize their course(s) to have a par time of 23 seconds and set courses so that no course is within 5% of the cap time. The "cap time" is defined as the time it takes a pacesetter to tuck from the start to the finish of their course without going around gates and is the fastest possible time the venue will allow. So lets just say a venue has a CAP of 20 seconds. 5% of 20 is 1. Add the 1 second to the 20 for a total of 21 seconds. The 5% rule means that the PAR can't be faster than 21 seconds. That would be an extremely straight course. The rule says nothing about a PAR time that MUST be within a certain percentage above the CAP as long as your not inside that 5%. Hence why CAP has nothing to do with a turny course. The 5% rule is to discourage people from setting courses with no turns. (A 23 second PAR would be 15% above CAP.) You can owe me the money until after the cops daughter gets out of college.
-
That's $10,000 you could lose! Sure you wanna do that? (I won't answer for you, I'll let you decide)$10,000 you could put towards college for the cops daughter.
-
Just admit your wrong and that will be a big step. CAP has nothing to do with too many turns or too much offset in a course. It only comes into play on straight courses. I told you that over and over. As for Epic.............I don't care what they do. If you don't want results, stay off PASR and go watch the race. Then you will know who won when you log on. I still don't understand why the whole board needs to be quarantined until you watch the race. You claim to have worked in news and want people to wait for news until you have watched the race. Don't you think that's a little self centered?
