Agreed on the rain. I keep hearing people talk about a Nov 5th opening for Boulder and I dont see it, and its certainly not posted anywhere. Not sure about the boarders only.

I have a couple. I mostly work with True Snowboards though. There a smaller company in Canada just getting somewhere, but they give me free boards so I try to keep a relationship with them. Monster sends me some apparel every once in awhile and Ive gotten a case here and there too. Im trying to move out to Utah in a year or two though for college so hopefully I can get somewhere. Im not really expecting anything though. Just trying to stay with the sport cause in like 15 years my body wont be able to take anymore broken jaws.

Pretty stoked for the airbag. Im sure everyone has tons of tricks waiting to be unleashed on that thing. Maybe in the next few years though red bull will build us a half a million dollar superpipe with a foam pit at the bottom so we can catch up to Shaun Whites double corks.

Well, Im wired shut for a few weeks. Liquid foods and no talking. Sucks. Had to remove a bone impacted wisdom tooth just to get to the multiple fractures. Pain meds are whats up. Thanks Matt. You killed that shit by the way.

No teeth lost. Just parts of my tongue. Nothing major. Took it like a champ. I was hoping it was dislocated so they could of popped it back in and I could of took my next run but I wasnt that lucky.

Cork 7s ended my day with a case, knee to the face, broken jaw in 3 places, which all results to surgery Monday. WOOT! Still bleeding 5 hours later.

Last night there was sight of a park with large amounts of snow and actual landings. Landings that also included legit knuckles. And possibly the visual of what appears to be a decent hip. Pray for good lips for the jumps and this could be the best year park has ever seen. Halfpipe is in good shape too btw.

I'm pretty sure the park was opened early and not to it's full extent this year because of the holiday weekend crowds to add more terrain. At least that's what I heard.

When the big jump was first up it was 54ft. They cut it down though within like 2 days though that's why it's so small.

Went up the past few mornings and I think the groomers started partying a few days early. Extremely dissapointed in morning conditions. I mean we all know Blue is known for death cookies but this is getting a little out of hand. Hoping for better grooming for a New Years Resolution.

One early opening + One hill + multiple jibs + 3/4 the Mid/North Atlantic ski and board population = The most progressive and greatest time of riding I have ever experienced. Im sure that speaks for most people on here. Haha my avatar is a picture from the first day of the story I just spoke of.

I heard about something on Halloween too. If I remember correctly, Boulder started blowing last year on a Thursday, that Saturday preseason began. Even if they dont "open" there is still a possibility of another preseason like last year. All we need is a few good days of cold weather.

So basically Im mad stoked for this event. Just like all the previous years. If they still have as much snow as everybody is saying this year is gonna be beastly.

Pond skim was good shit. Broke my ankle 3 weeks ago and it was good to get back out and ride even though I really shouldnt have. Good day though.

I can see it now, "Patroller to base.. We got a poacher with possible drug possession. I could use some reinforcements.. Oh damn it, Im in pursuit, Im going to need a trail block on Lower Sidewinder." Base responds, "The block is set but he's coming in fast. He just inverted over our block that we had set on the landing of the jump. Men, break out the armoured sleds." haha The ski patrol are rather heroic at Blue Mountain. This one patroller basically had an origasm for writing a friend of mine up for an accidental invert... My buddy caught his back edge on a bs 360 and flipped almost back on his feet and the patroller had a field day with it. The riders and skiiers with the most control doing their everyday thing are the ones that get in trouble, but patrollers ski right past the kids that can barely ride Burma that are in the park using the landings as a bench. Its rediculous. I heard that Blue has one of the highest injury rates in the country though. Not sure if thats entirely true but I imagine that is relevant to this whole reality show thing. I saw the cameras out too and I was quite confused but this post cleared that up.

The fencing sounds great actually. I seriously really like that idea. With the Asian Invasion and the crowds though especially in this weather its gonna be next to impossible to control those bumps in the landings on the first hits. The only thing I could think of is make the jumps more intimidating but it amazes me how many kids like to kill their knees by purposely casing the step downs. I really enjoyed the jump last year after the wall. I think its way to high up right now. If they brought it down a little and made it bigger with more pop.. I think that would be money. Blues park is amazing this year though no doubt. The pipe is actually half decent too. Props to Park Crue.

If they had enough snow it would of been open already. But Park Crue answered my question.

Website says Tuesday night fever starts tomorrow. I could be wrong but it looked like they were still lacking some snow for the booters and such. Sidewinder opening tomorrow or is it on another park?
