Just got back from a late afternoon sesh at Blue The True! Guns were blazing top to bottom on Nightmare and Dreamweaver. Come around has been pushed out and Widowmaker looks ready to be pushed and open. Snow was good with a couple scraped spots. Guns blazing on Lazy, Vista and Midway was still nice and light snow reconditioning all day long. Looks like we will have a plethora of new terrain by the weekend. All and all JADIP.

Just got back from a FOMO short afternoon sesh. Crowds were up but the snow was still pretty decent with the scraped off areas in spots. Upper Main had some really nice sugar pies you could kind of float your nose through like pow and the guns at the midway intersection made for some light fluff still even mid day. All the lip hitters in the parks kind of mushed them all into sugar pyramids. Not my cup of tea so I pretty much lapped everything but Burma with a few Upper Main repeats and called it. Way better crowd control this busy day! All in all JADIP at Blue The True.

Also would someone be so kind to make a post here before noon if the snow is rock 🪨 solid late morning or if it's better. I'm expecting an ice rink at opening but who knows if they throw a dry top layer on some trails it may be really good.

That was last year. We made the move to near Main Street this year for convenience proximity for frequent safety meetings. As park riders safety is of utmost importance! Look before you leap! Always be visible from uphill if you stop!
-
Haha oops sometimes I dont know what time of day it is let alone day it is.
-
When I meet my fellow park rats I park as close to the Main Street Express as we can. If I'm alone I come park in the PASR row.

BMR was on main like flys on shit this morning. At least they kept it open to the public though and I'm fine with sharing, it's caring.

Had a excellent session at Blue The True today! Arrived around 8:30 to be pleasantly suprised by a fairly empty lot. I figured the rain would keep people from coming early and it did. My car read 49 which was also suprising as the forecast I saw said upper 30 or low 40s at opening time. @Johnny Law was in the house as I spotted him on Lazy and gave him a pound in the lift line from the VIP passholder side of the fence. 🤣 Snow was exactly as you would expect wet but still fast. Spent most of the day lapping lazy, or main to the park finished off on Paradise. Things are getting thin in spots but that doesnt matter with the snowmaking that shall go down this week.

I love it!!! I have an old TR on here of one day in April I also hiked up to the Nile Mile when the Stevenson was closed to poach it for one last run over a decade ago I believe. Just gor back from a great evening at Blue The True. Spring condtions and super lighr crowds except the million BMR kids.

Me too 🤫 minus the pill part. oh wait..

Fuck those snooty little brats. They pissed me off last Sunday big time. Closing trails on the busiest day of the year and jumping the lift gates every run right onto the chairs.
-
Are there any features on thebopening of Rhodo today?
-
Its MLK weekend.... if the crowds bother you I'd opt for tomorrow over one of the weekend days.
-
Here's the BMR race schedule for this year to take away Nile Mile and or Razors when it opens from the public. Saturdays and Sundays from 8 to 1 then then have the following school nights too. Monday Tuesday Wednesday and fucking Thursday. Really not cool....

They will like last year if they cant make the snow for the build. But hoping for that is also hoping for another year not reach 100% open trails. Let us park rats have our top to bottom park. We dont mind if you zip through unlike the racers completely taking trails from us for hours a day.

Im pretty sure Camelback still does since they still host the USASA or whatever regional grom freestyle competition. They just build it later in the season. There's some massive whales on Rhodo. I know Blue the True wants to build them on Dreamweaver again but the seasons have not allowed them to hammer that trail hard enough to build the big boy park. Hopefully we get it this year. Im expecting with next weekends 24 hour snowmaking windows Come Around park will get built sooner than later. Then they will prioritize opening 100% of the trails before focusing on building out Dreamweaver if the weather lets them. Im more of a rail rat these days. Less consequential once you learn how to bail on them vs coming up short on a big money booter.

They need more features in the parks. Its pretty lame right now, pill stall, down rail, and small jump.
-
How can I make 120k sitting on my couch some day?
-
Yes the bumper boat pond was full but the other 2 ponds are not visible from the slopes or lifts.

Just got back from a short later afternoon sesh at Blue The True. Snow was getting a bit sugary but still had moisture content. Just lapped lazy, upper main, and vista to miday to the park a bunch of times. All in all JADIP. Snowmaking conditions looking superb for next week!

Just got back from an afternoon sesh at The Camel. Snow coud best be described as creamy, super saturated and fast. It's gonna be all about that solid base after a freezing night. Lapped the park lift mostly which only contains a stall feature, down rail and 10-15 jump. Fun but very much lacking compared to Blues early season park yet nice to have a dedicated lift to lap it. Finished out with some laps down Asp, Hump and King Tut. Forgot how legit Camelbacks steeps are for the very short duration your get to go down them, so short. Oddly it although it was super light crowds today the top premium parking lot had about 50 cars with playes from about 20 states. Ikon doing it's thing I suppose. I'll be back at Blue for the foreseeable near future. I'll check Camelback again when they upgrade the parks. All in all a creamy cool sesh at The Camel.

I hope it doesn't become an unlimited access ikon resort for the sake of how much busier it might be. Although, I also wouldn't mind just having to buy an Ikon and not a Blue/CBK pass as well.

Jokes or you know something?

Your not wrong. I do still think though they set their goal numbers to make it to the end of March. They dont ever try to push further I dont think. Camel seems to take the last weekend or two in PA.
