Just got back from a short afternoon session at Blue. I was suprised how well they are making through. Big sugar humps on the Nile Mile and Main Street, leg burning but fun. The park is holding up well and I think they got this. Rumor from talking to some employees is they are all scheduled through the upcoming mid week and I assume school groups are starting. Looks like they can make it through by the skinnof their teeth with the guns firing up Monday night and onward most nights.

I had grease on the back of my jacket yesterday, I was pissed off scrubbing it off at home! This explains it.

Your def going to want edges in the morning. It was hard but still edgable with my park board today but any more slick and I'd need my all mountain boards edges to feel secure. Rock skis by noon would be a good idea if you really dont want to risk nice/newer gear from some minor dings.

Thats just what ya call a stoke post, he enjoyed himself today. Realistically though compared to most other PA resorts Blue is holding up well all things considered. CBK, JFBB possibly Montage and or Elk may potentially have deeper bases to survive this stretch though at the cost of opening mid December as opposed to early.

All this time I thought Ski2Live was a she.

Was waiting for this TR! I have a sad feeling the CBK addon is going to come in handy if Blue has to do more mid week closings.

Between there not being much snow to push around and the colder night time temps but not quite cold enough for snowmaking I'd expect some true Pocono packed powder conditions the next 3 mornings.

Arrived at 830 and the snow as said was way harder than expected. Night and day from yesterday. It's gonna be rough getting through New Years for Blue. I'd hate to see it but I expect a Tuesday/Wed or Tues-Thurs closing for snowmaking and reopen Friday likely with the return of Paradise and Lazy Mile.

I have rode with several elite PASR of legends of the past, to current. Even on Vermonts highest peak! Even lapped the Camels large jump line with TTC6!

Just got home from a morning sesh at Blue The True. I counted 14 civilian heads waiting for opening bell. Snow was as to be expected fast, wet and thin kind of how I like my...... Im not sure Paradise will make the weekend. PS, PASR needs more riders as those guys in that chair wont wait a second for a guy to strap in! 🤣

Accuweather looks slightly better. In the least they have small overnight windows to refresh what we have next week with some luck, larger windows and the cold keeps coming.

It'll be ok. Rains only going for a few more hours and they got it under control. Winter starts next week! Ski you in the morning, gonna park by yous guys Blue civic.

He defended himself without offense. Security had her in the wrong for the assault but in the end both parties walked away unharmed without any penalties from the Blue police.

Interesting day, was exhausted after work so napped for awhil and arrived around 10:45. Crowds seemed light at first but quickly filled in. Snow was good but not near as good as Christmas Eve. I think we'll make it through this weather hump just fine until snowmaking returns possibly this weekend or Monday night albeit a little rough around the edges. Anyone see my friend get straight up MMA taken down at the base of the 6 pack by an irate snowboarder woman who thought he made her fall? 🤣 crazy holiday crowds, didn’t see the on trail incident myself.

I'll be there either 8 or 10ish depending how tired I feel after work when I get home in the am! I'm expecting ikonic snow conditions much like Sunday and hoping the crowds are even less!

Absolutely awesome day at Blue The True. Dare I say the best of the season? Hero soft well groomed snow from opening bell and light crowds until noon. Lazy Mile wasnt to packed and loads of fun as was Nile Mile and every other trail. VID_39101205_174305_800.mp4

Nah just a, it's to flat to bother thing. Now that Lazy Mile is in play though, not so bad!
