Prices may vary. I purchased my pass in February and added Camelback over summer and the price had not changed. At one point it was cheaper to buy a CBK pass and add on Blue as well. -

No guarentees I will make CBK opening day. I prefer Blue the true but I couldnt pass up the value for $221 with the weekend perks and proximity I will surely get my monies worth at the most opportune times. -
Also possibly a snow preservation strategy. Keep the whales in place on some trails to push out for full time opening starting next weekend. Or even just for this Saturday and Sunday.

Good lesson on Blue history. This should be stickied. Well in honor of Barbs legacy and support of the indy vibe, I will respect the name change and dub the park Barbs Way.

And a park on "Barb's Way" aka Trails End. That's something new, I've been told they always open with it on Come Around and only not last year because the new lift wasnt in service yet. Man trails names change so often. Who is Barb?

We weren't hassled on beers and buds on closing day but we were a bit cautious and even got to park in the upper VIP lot for frees. Im not sure if its 7 or 7:30 but the first hour the lifts spin is for super duper passholders and ski patrol only. I utilized it back in the day and it definately was very nice when some fresh snow fell the night before. Blue gets tracked so crazy fast if it's not a rider of the storm day. I still cant get over how long I was able to get fresh lines at Elk last year. -

Yes, I prefer to ride at Blue the true but for days when my time is short and the weekend VIP passholder perk will be a nice option every now and then being half the distance as Blue for me. -

But look at Blues webcams. The greatest snow making system in all of Pennsylvania has now been running for 24 hours for the first time thisb23/24 season! Whales and whales on 🐋 🐳 🐋!!

I will be taking the Main Street 6 if available to see what they may or may not have done on Come Around. They teased on the Blue Mountain Parks insta page today the cat hauling festures up to that area. After that I will probably take my 2nd run up the quad to check out the nile mile if it's open!!

The anxiety of opening day is just killing me but the midweek closing is a huge stoke stomper on it for me. I'm off on Fridays so that would be great but I'll still be there for opening Saturday!

They announced today they're sticking with the Dec 15 opening date. Bold move but they may be able to open 100% just in time for the Christmas crowds!!
