Had a great first day of the season in 10 years at Blue today. Made sure to keep it EXTRA SAFE at Blue the true with my rusty legs and PAs highest vertical available. Really love how the rfid tickets track your stats. Ended up with 15K Vertical "Metres"? In 15 runs. Looking forward to grabbing a early bird pass late Feb. Ski yall later

The hotel was supposed to have been built and in operation in 2007 and every year since but they still have not even broken ground. I honestly don't think it's ever going to happen, there's not enough interest and it's to late now. Great Wolf right down the road has the indoor water park for the kids/family vacations. Mount Airy has the adult vacationers who may also ski at Camelback which is only 5 minutes away. I would be really surprised if they went through with it. Not to mention the owner was recently caught cheating on his wife and I assume she's gearing up to take him to the cleaners, he was living in his RV in the parking lot the hotel is supposed to be built on for some time. The sno mountain bid is just a lowball offer joke, no chance in hell he will acquire that property.

Their business model is more geared toward the water park and their other year round shit. The ski resort is on the bottom of the list.

Doug's very repeticious antics can get annoying at times. When you've heard the same 20 one liners for the 500th time but it's all in good light hearted fun. It's kind of like getting sand in your swim trunks. Its annoying but you dont really hate the sand and you know the sand makes the beach a better place. With that being said if not for Dougs overwhelming outgoingness and welcoming of new people many probably would have never got together with the PASR crew, myself included. There's a bunch of great people here and it definatly can feel clickish but that's only natural being the core group has likly known eachother for a very very long time. I vote for unbanning of Doug before he gets to butt hurt because I think his good far outweighs the bad.

It is ok I was out Wednesday was like spring riding. Rocket was the only diamond open and the best trail on the mountain being the slooshy snow was pretty slow on the mad horizontal CBK has to offer. I'm due for a change I really don't think I'll be getting a Camelback pass next year the terrain is getting to boring. Not true, you can only not drink beer in the parking lot on opening day lol. That was the only time I've ever been told not to.

Well Cliff isn't open so don't know how bad the intersection will be yet but I just don't like the idea of sacrificing ski terrain no matter how little for a coaster.

Fuck this shit burns me. God damn it Camelback.
