Ya, that's what I was looking at. Hoping the Port Authority gets clogged up with snow and the buses wont run in the morning or at least be very delayed. Just started snowing lightly in the Burg.

Blizzarding in NYC they're calling for 2 feet. Maybe the buses wont run into the city tomorrow..... looking at the radar it seems like almost half of the storm has missed us already traveling up the coast. Might have to bring my board into work for some urban runz!

Alarm went off at 6:30 and I hit the snooze until 6:45. Hit the road at 7:20 and stopped at the gas station for a pack of smokes and a small cappuccino. I seen a cute gas attendant getting off her shift viciously scratching lotto tickets and I wished her good luck but none the less she only won a free ticket. I offered a trip to the casino for some better luck but apparently she is younger than I thought I arrived at Camelback at 7:38 and came through the back way to see if the Sunbowl was loading but it was not as a noticed some gaper having a hell of a time walking up the Sunbowl clumsily with his skies on. The parking attendant tried to stick me in the 3rd lower lot but I evaded him by going out the exit and coming back in to be parked in the 2nd lot next to the ramp. I was on the Sullivan by 7:45 and started off with a nice mellow run down Marc Anthony to Honeymoon which was nice untracked hard packed cord. I then hit up Marjies, Big Pocono and the Asp before making my way over to the Stevenson from Ceasar through the Raceway for some runs on Cliffy, Nile & Pharaoh. I went back and forth once more and called it a day as the crowds started to come in and the lift lines we exceeding 40 seconds at 9:45. The snow was definitely a bit slower today than it was yesterday and last weekend. The conditions were the same on every trail for the most part, the grooming has been excellent this year thus far. I plan to finish the weekend with some poker on the interwebs as well as either Mount Airy or Sands and maybe watching the Godfather with a nice bowl of pasta and meatballs this evening. JADIP

Me no like ice!! Me like powwwwww

Yes but unfortunately this has no benefit to us. NYC's 911 call & data center never closes which is the building I currently work in I want pow early morning tomorrow! I know it's not going to happen though and Monday night is going to be a shit show with the holiday week crowds. Those who can get out for opening on Monday will have the best of it me thinks.

I hear ya work sucks! I hope it speeds up and we get some goods tomorrow.
-
Flurrying right now maybe I'll get some pow for first trax tomorrow if it starts early.
-
That it could but it's also one of the busiest weeks of the ski season so night time will prob be a shit show
-
Feeling more annoyed than stoked that I have to work on what may potentially be the first pow day of the season >:^/
-
They're saying 6-12" now for my area starting tomorrow into Monday.....

I'll be der this weekend. Love the ungroomed conditioned trails I hope they keep it up all season. A little disappointed that there's no first tracks Christmas day but its understandable and nice that th lifts get Christmas morning at home with the fam.

They have had one for years but always fail at updating it or even using it.

What do you mean no access? King Tut and or Birches should be open both of which you can easily cut across to Laurel glade from. So long as the Sullivan was running don't see why this would be a problem...
-
I used to but you still have to break in then when you do that unless you hide it somewhere in the bed or undercarriage.
-
Man how do people get out of their front door with 7+ feet of snow.
-
Was the first time I lost then on the hill thank god it was local. I chose a bad pocket, guess I was asking for it. Side zip pocket when I have huge velcro bucket pockets doh! Fortunately I still have 2 more spares and a key machine on the job.

Left the house around 7:05 stopped at the gas station for a small cappuccino and honey bun to start the day Arrived in the Sunbowl lot at 7:40 and walked over to the lift to find out they weren't loading yet. I stood around and bullshitted with the lifties for a few min but they still weren't getting the call to load, so I skated over the the Stevenson which had ski patrol lined up ready to do their sweep and allow the passholders up afterwards. That's what I get for being lazy, not wanting to park in the main lot and walk up the hill and stairs to the Sullivan. I missed out on 20 min of first tracks. I was on the 2nd Civilian chair of the day on the Stevenson, could have been first but choose to take my own chair for comfort. The guns were blazing on The Bactrain, Pharaoh and some of the connecting trails in between. First run was down the Nile Mile which was pleasantly groomed packed man made pow. Next run was down Cliffhanger which was also very nicely groomed packed pow. I lapped the Stevenson a couple more times and hit some of the mid mountain trails that lead out near the Sunbowl and back down to the Stevenson and found a small nice wind blow pow stash about toe deep on the side of Lower Cleo. Headed over to the Sully and hit up Marjies which must have been conditioned with some nice man goodness. Continued the rest of the day doing a few runs on the Sully to the Stevenson and back. I went to take a break and get my park pass around 10 and did a lap through the park which looked legit mostly jibs with one jump on lower moores. I only dabbled on a couple flat boxes. The stoke stomper of the day was when I walked back to my car after checking out the park I realized the zipper came open on my jacket and my keys were gone I decided to go over to the Stevenson and ask if anyone turned them in and than ride over the the Sullivan and ask them but no luck. I called my pops to see if he could bring me a spare which he did so I took a few more runs and left at 11:45. To my suprise there was never more than a minute wait in any of the lift lines the whole time I was there so I didn't mind missing out on 20 min of first tracks this morning. Props to the snowmakers and groomers for doing an amazing job!

I think I'm the only PASR pass holder at the Camel. I used to get out every day when I was unemployed but now usually just weekend mornings. I dunno if you know who I am because I don't think you were working when I worked there but you might. Yet your home mountain is listed as Camelback? . Welcome to PASR!

To high to see pictures I guess

Nope just get holiday pay but no class so maybe for the weekend possibly. What days you thinking?
-
Wow looks like they have the glades filled in nicely already. JFBB never fails to impress, definitely the best man made conditions in PA.
-
I am jealous. Last weekend at Boulder Phillycore was telling me all sorts of stories about his Tahoe experiences. I'd love to get out there next season Have fun, take lots of pics !!

I do, I skipped today since the next 3 classes are just practice exams before the final. I don't need 3 practice exams so long as I study a little each day on the bus. The the 2nd half starts again after the New Year. It will be sad to not have my Saturday morning first tracks This season is a sacrifice for me, following seasons I will have vacation time + other days to take off and plenty of funding to spend that vacation time at mountains outside of the Poconos
